Welcome to Lovage Lane Farm! We’re excited to open up our working hobby farm for you to enjoy. This isn’t your typical campsite—it’s our home and farm on 10 acres right off the Trans-Canada Highway. Heads up: Being right off Hwy 1 means it can get noisy with traffic sometimes. If you're a light sleeper, just a heads up. Here, you’ll see chickens, geese, goats, sheep, and two friendly farm dogs roaming around. The dogs can be a bit rambunctious at first—our white pup is still full of energy, while the black dog is older and more chill. Both are harmless and love making new friends. There’s always something going on—we’re a working farm, so it’s a little rustic and a lot authentic. This isn’t a Pinterest-perfect farm — it’s real, with imperfections and a work in progress. We can only accommodate fully contained units at this time. You’re just 5 minutes by car from Canoe Beach and downtown Salmon Arm, and only a 5-minute walk to Setters Pub and Northyards Cidery if you want to keep it local. If you're looking for more options, we're happy to share some recommendations! What else? • Propane fire pit and tank rental: $45 per stay, with refills available for $40. • Tent rental: We have a 2-person tent for $20 if you want it for your stay. Please pack it up when you leave, and let us know if anything gets damaged. • Campfires: We’re allowed one campfire on the property at a time (local regs), so if someone’s already there, don’t be shy — it’s communal. Share the space and enjoy yourself. • Mosquitoes: They’re part of the package—bring bug spray! • Bats: You might see some flying around at night—nature’s little helpers. We’re still growing and improving the farm, so if you notice anything broken or off, please let us know so we can fix it quickly. Learn more about this land: Enjoy the outdoors at our campsite at Shuswap Lake, where you can bring your own tent or RV. Our property sits just off the main road with a view of the lake and access to the beach and forest. We have two sites that can hold up to four guests each. Pets are welcome. Nearby lakeside attractions include Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park and Cinnemousun Narrows Provincial Park The property has a firepit with provided firewood, and an outhouse. The 2 fully serviced Rv's have running water, power and kitchen & bathroom facilities. Flat parking is available. For those bringing an RV, the pull-in site can accommodate up to 40 feet in length. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed.  To the west along the lake, the communities of Scotch Creek and Ross Creek have a few shops and food options. The greater Shuswap Lake area offers a wealth of activities, from kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, and fishing to visiting wineries and dining at local restaurants.

Hunters can also enjoy the cabin in the fall during hunting season. THE SPACE A cozy 800 sqft log chalet with wood burning stove, outdoor 3-person hot tub, wood fire-pit, picnic-table & BBQ. Private 0.65 acres across from Eagle Pass trail. Tons of parking for trucks & trailers. Sleeps up to 5 single adults or a family of 6. An easy 35 to 45 minute commute to all the local mountains and lakes between Sicamous Lakes & Revelstoke. You will never run short of things to do. Also great during hunting season and for snowmobilers, skiers & snowboarders during winter season fun. GUEST ACCESS Guests can access all parts of the property except for the shop, which is off limits. Also, please remember that there is wildlife in the area. Please do not leave food outside and always keep the cabin door closed so smaller animals will not enter and make it their home. GUEST INTERACTION I am available by phone, text or email anytime. If it is an emergency then please call or text. There are also 2 site managers available upon request for any urgent issues that may arise and for snow removal. CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS There is a digital deadbolt on the front door. I will message you the code on check-in-day. To unlock the door simply enter the code and wait for the lock to open. You can manually lock the door from the inside. When leaving for the day simply close the door and press the lock symbol and the door will lock. NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW Also close by is the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge and Hot Pools just 5 minutes down the road towards Revelstoke. The Perry River is just a 3 minute walk down the road and Eagles River across HWY #1.

Weekend Trip to Hillside Lake View

Had a great weekend here, everything we needed. Located close to many beautiful beaches and is very private and quiet. As a bonus our dog was able to be off leash ! Would absolutely come back. Host Mike is a super friendly guy and was able to answer any questions we had :)

Great place for peace and quiet with a great view of the lake. Mike is a great host and is improving his site's daily. We enjoyed our stay so much to explore and close to the marina. I have been camping in this area since I was 10 years old and still haven't seen everything.

Weekend Trip to Hillside Lake View

We had a great time in Mike’s place. It has an amazing view and it’s a few min walking to a beautiful and calm beach. Mike was super nice during all our stay he even welcomed us with the campfire on :) Surely would love to come back to this lovely place!
