Mabel Lake Resort, boat launch and Golf Club is a short 20 minute drive. Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks. Your dogs or other small pets are permitted in the camping areas only as our herd is terrified of dogs. There is another large area where well-behaved dogs can run off leash. We have one RV site with septic, water and 15 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and numerous U-pick tent sites with water nearby and porta potty.

Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled! We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life. Summer in the Okanagan. Entrance to the Provincial Park is also less than a block away, where you will find many trails for biking or walking, as well as playgrounds and a bike park. Amenities such as grocery store, pharmacy, medical clinic and eating establishments close by. just a bit to know about the rental We are excited you are coming to enjoy the Shuswap and all it has to offer. We want to make sure you have an enjoyable time at our place and want to make sure you are prepared for your stay. Just a couple of important things to note. 1. Renters will need to bring all of your bedding including pillows. (There are coin operated laundry facilities on site) 2. You will also need to bring your own towels, there are some dish clothes and tea towels available in the park model for your use. 3. A propane tank will be available for use and there is a gas station where you can get it filled up for use of the BBQ and firepit should it run out. 4. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes and such you should need including some basic spices for cooking. There is a grocery store just a couple minutes away that can cover all of your needs including a liquor store, and a deli. 5.
