Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away. There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures). We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both. ATV's are idle in - idle out only. QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them. LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights. CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times! FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM. BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens. Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them. If you prefer, we have 6 bare-bones fishermen's cabins. We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground. Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away. There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures). We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both. ATV's are idle in - idle out only. QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them. LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights. CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times! FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM. BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens. Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake. Adventure Basecamp is a tranquil, primitive camp nestled in a cedar grove at the end of a private, unpaved road less than a quarter mile off Mt Baker Hwy in Maple Falls, WA. Tired of parking lots and boondocking? Park up here and be the first up the mountain this winter. Pop into the cabin for some sourdough pastries and espresso on your way out! I'm a recovering nomad who spent a good many years travelling and living in vans...I built this space for van life. Four level parking pads are tucked in amongst the cedars and a communal picnic/seasonal fire area sits in the center. Bring your friends and their vans too...group camp booking is available and encouraged! Vehicles must be fully self contained to stay here; tent camping is not permitted. Adventure awaits you in Maple Falls! It is situated along the Nooksack River at the base of Mt Baker in the North Cascades. Outdoor recreation abounds...world class skiing, mountaineering, mountain biking. Fish, forage, paddle, play disc golf, find a swimming hole...or simply drive 50 minutes up to Artist's Point with a picnic and soak in the beauty. Bay to Baker Trail, Red Mountain and the Nooksack are all accessible on foot or bike from camp. We are 10 min to North Fork Brewery and Silver Lake Park, 15 min to Glacier, 45 min to the Mt Baker ski area and 35 min to Bham. Plan to unplug...cell service is dodgy

This location is 30 minutes from Mt Baker Ski Resort and artist point! We have a few "walk-to" sites, to pitch a tent and have a blast! Each site is very secluded and fit for 6-12 people, depending on site . Take a breath of fresh air and relax! Enjoy the lake, it's great for dipping your feet in and enjoying the wildlife. Also, we hope you enjoy the forest full of trees and the songbirds that live in them! Watch eagles and other wildlife in their natural habitat and enjoy your stay!! (Experiences may vary.) The decor is inspired by the culture of the local indigenous peoples of yale First Nation. Sit outside on your private deck overlooking the river and enjoy the beauty of seeing eagles bears deer and other wildlife.  Here you will find a barbecue and outdoor propane griddle to create your favourite meals. Sit and enjoy the views of the river at your balcony railing bar or relax in your lounge chairs. Afterwards sit around the campfire and roast marshmallows while sitting next to the river. We include firewood. Guests can share a fully functional outdoor washroom facility featuring a compostable toilet and an outdoor low flow shower. Towels and washcloths are provided. Teepee #2This teepee is a more rustic adventure and features accommodation for 2 with access to the shared washroom. This teepee is also decorated with local indigenous decor. This teepee has no power or water. Potable Water is available in the washroom. We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Greg and Shelly are extremely kind and have such a beautiful home! Very clean and LOTs of appliances and fun things to do in and on the property. They had dry firewood ready for use and the hottub was hot and well kept. We had hummingbird visitors and were able to go down to the river and see salmon swimming! We used the bbq that was full of propane also. We are returning guests and highly recommend visiting! They were so generous to invite us to stay longer past the check out time as there were no guests after us so we enjoyed being able to sleep in and pack up without rushing. Very happy to be up in such a gorgeous area. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

It's a really great place. The host was also very kind, and the atmosphere of the harmonious family was particularly nice. The glamping site has everything, and the shower and toilets, which were of great concern, were really clean. The glamping site was full of romance and the host was kind. The disadvantage is that the network doesn't work, but it's slow because there's Wi-Fi, but Internet access is possible. The bathroom is clean and the glamping site I thought was to sleep in a poor environment for a day, but this place was so nice! +) It's a pity that I couldn't say hello to three pugs in the morning. I loved glamping on Lisa and James’ land! They are wonderful hosts, and I felt very welcome and comfortable during my stay. The property is beautiful - right by the river with mountain views you can enjoy from your private deck. The tent was amazing too!
