Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Welcome to the Cooroy RV Park owned by the Noosa Council and operated by the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce for the benefit of the Cooroy Community. There are some conditions of staying at the RV Park imposed by Council to ensure community safety Requirements • RV’s shall be fully self-contained and must retain all grey and black water. There are no toilet/shower facilities in the RV Park • Maximum of 4 consecutive nights • No on-site release of grey water or other waste • Dump point is in the turn around area adjacent to the RV Park • No open fires are permitted • Pets on a leash when walked in the area and must be restrained at all times during the stopover period • Owners must pick up their dogs faeces • Consideration be given for residents and road users when walking in the area; and • Noise minimised after 8.30PM There is a dump point and town water available and rubbish facilities. Caretaker on site. Payment can be made at the RV park for $15 per night. We are now able to accept direct payment at the gate via stripe. Just scan the QR code on the sign and it will take you directly to our website and direct payment gateway. Cooroy RV Stopover is a convenient and budget-friendly spot for those looking to explore the charming town of Cooroy and its surroundings. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained grassy sites, easy access to town, and the friendly caretakers. However, be prepared for some early morning noise from the nearby factory, which can be a bit disruptive. Sept '26--I parked there in my Toyota bus for a couple of nights--very nice, clean, near to lovely little town. But there was no need to book. Just turn up--$15 a night up to 4 nights--honesty paying system--park where you like, no bays or numbers. I loved the ease of this. Booking ahead made it more complicated than it need be! Sorry Hipcamp!

Great place to stay, easy walk to the local shops. HOT TIP do not park next to the roller doors opposite the entrance. The workers in there kick off at 7am and whilst they have good taste in music it is a bit much for 7am 😬

Oh it’s so lovely here. Our care takers are so helpful. We love Cooroy such a pretty town and easy access to the whole area for $15 per night. We have been here before which is why we came back.

It is a pretty basic big patch of flat, grassed land. There are no special views, but it is a good option for the price and location. There are no facilities so you must be self contained. There is a dump site and a water refill station (paid) just outside of the site.

Cean and tidy no amenities but 3 mins down the road public toilet that needs council to invest in upgrading so (The stop over experience) is a better cleaner public toilet experience. also pizza on weekends is a thought. maybe double in intake of the park as was booked out school holidays, yet space was available at 730pm at night. yet could not book so drove 2 hrs home tired. my fault I know.

The worst experience of our trip. Even though we had paid and booked for two nights, we only stayed the first one because we did not feel safe or comfortable there. At 5 am we were woken up in a very aggressive way by the parking security guard, who, without asking any questions, threatened to call the council. We still do not understand what happened, as we followed all the instructions provided. The situation was completely distressing and honestly quite traumatic. It was a huge disappointment. I have written several times asking for clarification about what happened and requesting a refund for the second night, but I have received no proper response. Only an automated message that does not solve anything. We are extremely disappointed with how this has been handled.

Access to the town. 10 minutes walk. Very pleasant town. Ate in the RSL. Excellent. Bought clothes lots of nice women’s shops. IGA in town plus coffee shoos etc Water on a tap plus a machine to buy water. Bins, lots of space. Level. Free dump for motorhome Excellent stopover. We stayed one night I would have liked more. Close to Eumundi for the market approx 15 min. We went at 7.30 when it opened to get parking.
