Tucked away on a small hobby farm backing directly onto Sheep Station Conservation Park, this is a peaceful, no-frills spot for guests who enjoy the simple things in life. You’ll be sharing the property with a sheep, chickens, geese, ducks and a friendly alpaca. This is not a party location, but young families and homeschoolers are very welcome. Children 12y and under stay for free. There is a bathroom and small kitchenette available up at the shed, a large communal fire pit on the front paddock, and a sheltered picnic table and small playground in the back paddock. Feel free to jump the back fence into Sheep Station Park, but be aware that the park has no amenities and does not allow vehicles or pets. Pets are welcome on our farm, but must be kept on a leash due to the farm animals and surrounding conservation area. Please make sure you always shut the gate when coming and going to prevent our animals wondering off the farm. Generally the dam is more for scenery than swimming... though you're welcome to try out the kayaks. Please note, 1 booking equals 1 vehicle and camp set up (tent, caravan, campervan or camper trailer). Additional cars and/or camp set up's can be booked. $15 per extra car or camp set up. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. For peace of mind, a Rural Fire Service volunteer lives on the property. While this is genuine Australian bush, the usual scary stories about wildlife are thankfully less dramatic than many people expect. Karen is an excellent host and her property is beautiful. Our grandkids loved the freedom to run around, use the playground, cook over the firepit and toast marshmallows. Flying their kites was particularly popular.

Beautiful relaxing oasis Kathryn has created. Was a great last minute night away, enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and waking to bird sound in the morning. Very thankful for the freshly baked sourdough too! Loved this spot and would love to come back again soon :)

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was beautiful, cosy and incredibly peaceful — it genuinely felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, which was exactly what we were looking for. We booked the cabin for a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life so we could focus on studying, and it was the perfect place to do it. We were able to completely switch off from everything around us and get so much done. The cabin had absolutely everything we could have needed and more, with so many thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special. You could tell how much time, care and effort Kathryn has put into creating such a unique, comfortable and cosy space. And Kathryn herself was a wonderful host. She even baked fresh sourdough for our arrival, which was such a lovely and unexpected touch! She was so warm and lovely to chat with, and always easy to reach whenever we had a question. The surrounding area is gorgeous and so charming, and there was something really special about the whole property. It felt like a little escape from the real world. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back again. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough! ❤️

What an absolutely magical place this is! 💗 From the moment we arrived we felt at peace, the cabin was the perfect size and the outdoor space was plentiful. Kathryn was so kind and came over and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell how much they truly care about creating a top notch experience with how thoughtfully planned out the property is (all kitchen supplies provided, starter fire already set, etc). The property is stunning - walking around the fairy gardens was an added bonus in the evening! 10/10 ✨

Nine Mountain Glamping really has everything you need for a relaxing and romantic getaway in the hills. The bell tent is so cosy and comfy and the little outdoor kitchen means camp cooking can shift up a level. We loved the bath tubs and enjoyed them in the evening but even more so with a morning mimosa or two! Thanks Sam and Rodney! Hope we can come back sometime!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay stay in the cabin. Beautifully situated amongst the trees, and well appointed with all the comforts of home. I was so impressed with Kathryn's attention to detail, obviously a lot of thought and care has gone into making their guests feel right at home. The garden is beautiful and by night just magical by the fairy lights. So good our dog could come too. A perfect escape!
