We stayed in the cabin and it was amazing. It is such an incredible location with great views and nice and secluded up the back of the property. Luke was a great host, he was very welcoming and friendly. We were also able to feed the highland cows which was such an incredible experience. We had a relaxing 2 nights in the cabin. Cabin was clean and comfy bed. There is also an outdoor kitchen area with BBQ, pizza oven ,fridge etc. A couch to lie down also. Firepit and outdoor shower (cold). The towns of Stroud and Dungog are a short drive away. Which we visited. The hosts are great, Keiran took us up to cabin and gave all info. Highly recommended.

I had an incredible weekend at Louise’s place. The peaceful setting above the river was absolutely beautiful, and the outdoor shower was such a unique and refreshing experience. Louise was wonderfully accommodating, and I’d highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

We really enjoyed our time at Graham and Chris’s property. It’s a lovely place and the log cabin was very cozy and a lovely place to stay. Graham and Chris were very welcoming and checked in on us every day to make sure we had everything we needed ; even bringing us beautiful mandarins from their garden and worms to fish with! The river was a nice place to have a swim and skim some rocks. We will definitely be back. Thank you

4 nights at Critterland - Cabin & Camping

Plenty of room to spread out at Paul's camping area. Lovely clean communal kitchen & bathroom. We really enjoyed our short stay and hope to go back sometime. Our dog really enjoyed the off leash stay as well. Paul is a really great host with lots of local knowledge of what to do in the area.

We spent a few days camping near the park and discovered that the park had more to offer than we realised. We visited the Grandis Tree (amazing) and had a lovely drive, but we will have to come back to see more.

Mungo Brush campground

We enjoyed our stay with our dog. The camp ground is large and the toilets are clean. Trevor was very informative of the area and thing to see.
