Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Ever want to get away from the rat race of the city or work, turn off your phone, and just relax for a night—or even a week—while enjoying a valley view and the sunset in the background? Then this is the place for you. With 30 acres of cleared land, you can pitch your tent or park your caravan and sit back to enjoy the peace and quiet. (Guests must be fully self-sufficient.) The property is also conveniently located near everything you might want to see and do, including the beautiful Denmark area, Walpole Beaches, and Albany itself, where you can visit the blowholes and historical sites. And of course, you can’t miss the Mount Barker Bakery! Nearby attractions and activities include: Granite Skywalk, Castle Rock – A spectacular hike with dramatic granite formations and an elevated skywalk offering panoramic views over farmland and the Stirling Ranges. Porongurup National Park – One of the world’s oldest mountain ranges, featuring amazing walking trails, scenic drives, and native flora. Pwakkenbak (Mount Barker Hill) Mountain Bike Trail – Trails and paths for walkers and mountain bikers. Galafrey Wines – A classic Great Southern cellar door experience with cool-climate wines. Burgess Run 1
Lovely peaceful and level parking on top of the rise with nice views. Some road noise. Very hard to locate on a main highway, so a sign or bigger property number would easily fix this. A nice place to explore some great wineries.
