Camp in nature and enjoy the sights and sounds of the local wildlife.Sites are picturesque with local wild life passing through. Pitch a tent, swag , Camper Trailer, Caravan or set up your RV and enjoy a marshmallow on the campfire. Great spot located near beautiful Bowen.
A great stop, the creek was dry but can imagine what it would be like when flowing. The host was extremely helpful, I was the only one there, very peaceful, great opportunity to kick back and read a book.
Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Paul and Tori were both very welcoming & down to earth. Grounds were well kept. We took our own fire pit but there were plenty of sandstone surround firepits to use. Firewood was only $10 a bag. Camp kitchen with free herbs for your salads. Wheelchair accessible showers and toilets coming soon. Pet friendly, dogs had a ball swimming in the fresh water river. Bit of a walk to the water but the sand walk gave the legs a good work out🤣
We don't have children but I'm sure any kids would enjoy the big sandy areas & visiting the ducks, goats and pigs. Massive pizza oven being built at the moment. Camp oven cook off mid October. Events for charity😍. Would have stayed longer if we could. Already booked in for the camp oven cook off. Definitely recommend.
