Our property is 38 acres in size and is primarily used as an equestrian facility where coaching, clinics and training in dressage are conducted as well as providing agistment. The camping area is 100 metres or so from the nearest road and next to a dam and provides some of the most gorgeous sunsets around. Currently you will need to be self sufficient as we don’t have any toilet or shower facilities and we are still working on our shade with the trees having only just been planted. Relaxing spot

Wonderful spot , spacious with the most amazing sunsets and sunrises. Firepits available and our 2 dogs loved the space. So nice that they allow dogs off leash, providing they are under effective control. Close to town only 5-10mins. Dam was full of wildlife from birds, to fish. Highley recommend, neat mowed paddock

Sunsets and Horses

A lovely flat area of green grass and a big dam as a focal point ... the breeze is perfect to keep you cool while watching the stunning sunset over the dam and distant mountains .. only 10 minutes to Bowen which has some great beaches and pubs ... Horseshoe Bay and Rosebay are both great places to have a swim and Rosebay is dog friendly... Very relaxing place .. thanks Matt ..

Dam Sunsets

Stunning flat area with green grass and a beautiful dam in the centre .. Very relaxing with great cool breeze .. Enjoy the sunsets over the dam with mountains as a backdrop .. Just 10 minutes to Bowen and the stunning Beaches... Horseshoe Bay, Grays Bay & my favourite Rose Bay which is dog friendly xx

Fantastic flat area with lots of green grass ... A beautiful dam in the centre which is a great focal point with mountains as a backdrop ... A very quiet safe area to leave your van while you explore Bowen just 10 minutes away .. Thanks Matt for mowing the lawn and our great stay

A simple camp which was perfect for us, lovely spot near the dam. Bug the dog came to visit our last two nights which the kids enjoyed playing with her. Nothing was a hassle and was a great sunny spot for the van. If we are ever back this side of the country would definitely stay again.

Was a good affordable option close to Bowen. Was plenty of room for the handful of vans on-site although could have done with a little more room cleared to enable turning around the bigger caravans for drive thru spots. Was very windy the one night we stayed and as it’s an exposed dam spot being outside in the spot we parked wasnt an option.

We were able to park up facing the dam and the gorgeous mountains which brought us stunning sunsets. There was heaps of room for our kids to explore and the hosts doggos were absolutely awesome and brought smiles to all of us. Only 10mins from Bowen, this place was just far enough to be peaceful but not too far to be cut off from everything. Brilliant stay 😄

Enjoyed our stay, nice and quiet. Had two of the best visitors, farm doggos, Bug & Pippa, they got loads of loving at our camp. Perfect spot to watch the DRD, very well maintained area. We will be back again.

Such a lovely spot we booked for one night and ended up staying two! Sunsets were amazing and the kids loved the space and the dam to explore. We also loved our visits from both dogs so friendly and loved a good belly rub, made our kids stay. Thank you for welcoming us into your home

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves, nice and quiet picturesque especially the sunset, close to town great for a base camp to explore the region, and lots of fresh produce 😀 The dog's welcome you they are so friendly and very well behaved especially Bug the 3 legged dog and Pippa also 😀
