Beautiful but lost with no contact.

It was a nice place. Quit and beautiful but we would have liked to have contact with the owner of the place. We called at arrival and they told is that we could stand anywhere outside of the farmyard. After that no contact at all. We thought someone would meet us and tell is about the farm. No contact at all. Felt a little lost in the fields.

A quiet, away from the road, easy to access and flat site. Plenty of space to turn around. No shade. Close enough to town to use as a base, or an overnighter. Instructions were clear. Richard, the host, dropped by to say hi. I was the only one there last night. An economical alternative to the crowded caravan parks in town, for people who are self contained.

We loved our stay at Jenkins Farm and Richard the host was friendly and helpful.
The campsite was easy to locate and had easy access for our large caravan. We were away from busy roads so nice and quiet. The whole site is spacious and level.
It is a perfect spot to sight see around the Bowen region with easy day trips and town just 10 minutes drive away.
We highly recommend Jenkins Farm as a stopover for one or more nights.

We liked the location and the friendly welcome. We were unfortunate in having corn being harvesting on a nearby farm most of the 2 nights we were there, suffering broken sleep.
It was still a convienent place to stay.

There was heaps of space the around was quite and not far from The Don River Dash spectators Area just off the main Road. So it was an excellent camp for that event. Will be back for sure. And the owners were great friendly and helpful.

Thoroughly in joyed my stay at this hip camp. Has a little bit of everything going on. Very clean, green grass, farm animals, and most spectacular sun sets. The owners, must say were awesome. Highly recommend. Thank you.

We loved our stay on Richard’s Farm.
The front 1 acre is level fenced of with easy access to choose your site.
Surrounded by beautiful rural views with amazing sunsets.
Very quiet and peaceful nights.
There are also fire pits and water available.
Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 7.
Richard made us feel very welcomed.
We found it very hard to leave & definitely will be back.

Stayed one night as a journey stopover. No facilities per se. but plenty of room in this quite large, clean, tidy, well maintained spare paddock ( maybe about 2 acres in size). Owners checked if we needed anything but respected our privacy. Just rpughly 12 minutes from Bowen...but quite a nice rustic/agricultural location in itself.

I loved the really clean flat sites , this is our first hipcamp our hosts we really friendly took us through to see farm animals they were really nice would recommend to everyone, not far from Bowen & and attractions.

Good for a stopover avoid all the cramped caravan parks in Bowen. No amenities so you need to be self sufficient

it was simply an easy place to get to and relax at, wasn't sure about the actual property as it's a fenced off area to camp in, then the hosts came around to introduce them selves, and they are lovely people, and them they invited us into the animal farm area of the place, wonderful place.

Best hosts!! We had a wonderful time with our family and friends. Perfect level spot for the kids to run wild. Very accommodating and we got to take the kids to feed some farm animals.
We will definitely be back.

We loved our recent week long stay, plenty of space, flat ground with some afternoon shade if that's what your after. Bin provided. Close enough to drive to town each day, would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to our next stay. Hosts were lovely. Definitely recommend to others.

Easy access and easy to find. This little paddock set aside for campers is in between the road and the residence but there is nearly no traffic on this road at all so it's a very quiet spot.
