Our family-friendly retreat offers travelers only a peaceful escape on a spacious 10-acre property; travelers must be fully self-contained RV or caravan, sorry, no tent camping. Enjoy easy access to serene campsites, with campfires permitted (subject to government restrictions). Please keep in mind this is not a party property, loud music will not be tolerated, as we ask all to respect other campers and neighbours. Backed by a large nature reserve, you’ll have direct access to beautiful bushwalking tracks and our much-loved rural Saturday morning markets. Camp site 1 is the first campsite coming onto the property. It has slight morning sun and then afternoon shade. It is tucked into a little Cove area, has own fireplace, and is closest to our entrance seasonal swimming hole.

Great Hipcamp! We based ourselves here as we wanted the space and privacy, which is what we got! The kids had the freedom to run around and loved the friendly dog and chickens.

We went camping with our friend group and we all enjoyed it very much! Mel was really friendly and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the campfire, and I would definitely come back again!

We were Mel's first guests and she couldn't do enough for us. She was super welcoming and her property is a gorgeous oasis about 2kms from Coles, Woolies, Kmart, mechanics and fuel at Coolalinga. Not far from Darwin city and Berry Springs. Easy day trip to Litchfield from here too. Site 2 is huge and offers lots of shade or open grass areas depending on what you prefer. Bit of bushland seperating the two sites on offer, so feels private. Gorgeous little creek to splash in and some lovely green grass for my pup to roll around on, as only just coming out of the wet season. Designated fire places to relax by. Walking tracks nearby too if you fancy a stretch of the legs. We even saw two kangaroos at dusk! Dog and tent friendly which is great! We will be back for sure! :-)
