Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Tom’s Run is located on the Cobb Highway, 8 kilometres from the town of Deniliquin. The land has been managed through organic farming practices over more than 20 years. We run alpaca and dorper sheep. The farmland dries off in October, over long, hot summers, and greens up with autumn rain and/or irrigation from April each year. Hot summer days and nights. Winter mornings can begin with a frost. Deniliquin has many tourist destinations and the Edward River is popular for fishing, swimming and water sports in summer. Eastern Grey kangaroos and abundant bird life inhabit the land as do many other native fauna. Our property features interesting native flora including canoe/scar trees. We often have magnificent sunsets, so bring your camera. Enjoy campfires in the evenings. Campfires are permitted when not in fireban season, or according restrictions. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities. Alpacas are curious creatures that tend to turn up to investigate farm activity - it’s therefore likely that they will visit your camp.
