Loved it .... it had a mixture of being close to the action of the aqua centre to do or watch or you can have your own space an camp awesome..I have already booked in for 2027 with all my grandkids perfect..

Lovely spot to pull up the van, plenty of space, nice and level with spot overlooking the water. Inflatables on site were fun and millions star views at night.

We've come to Stoney Park a few times as it's one of our favourite places for the whole family, including our puppy!
The grass is always well maintained, toilets cleaned regularly and the lake is lovely.
We wish there were some more activities availables or um upgraded playground bit still a great spot for camping!!!

Camped in camping area, so much land but people have to camp on top of you, not impressed that you pay for your patch of grass and pay to access the water activities and if you are not self sufficient you cant access showers if you book through hipcamp, i was self sufficient but many others were not,thats crap

Had a very pleasant stay. Finding a suitable spot was a breeze even in the peak summer holiday period. The aqua park was great for the kids. We will be back.

The place was very pretty. Clean, and it did have toilet, which was convenient even if self-contained. There was an inflatable water park in the same lake, but it was amazing that it still was quiet, peaceful and relaxed. It was great though to have the water park nearly, so we had a really good time in the morning. There is a camping in the same piece of land, further down, and you can use their dump point too ithout fee.
The only downside for the camping, that they need to approve the booking, so you can only reserve when the nearby camping is open, so it is not good for last minute reservation. When they are open for reservation then have plenty of room, though.

We had an amazing experience. Your amenities are very though standards. The across to hot showers was great for the kids. We loved waking up to the animals around the pond paddock.

We stayed at Stoney Park Hipcamp for 3 nights from Boxing Day to 29th dec
We maybe didn’t look into to much but we though the water park was included in the coat of the stay. We were surprised to find out Stoney Park was separate as well as the water park- costa were either $25 for 50 mins or $55 per day - we thought it was better value to pay the full day- this was costly with 4 kids though.
There was flushing toilets, no showers (we
Knew this from the website) but there was only 3 flushing toilets for the entire park- safe to say the toilets got dirty very quickly! Luckily we took our own toilet paper as toilet paper ran out very quickly.
The hip cam was spacious with plenty of room for multiple campers- there were no allocates sites - pick your on spot so first in best view etc. not sure if we will return.

Best spot. If you don’t like crowds I wouldn’t go to this place.

Lack of facilities. The portable toilets barely had any water to flush.
No picnic tables or bbq facilities to accomodate for guests particularly where you’re situated in a location where people are travelling interstate.

We had a great stay at stoney ridge. It was quite busy and rather pricey but terrific to have the freedom to park wherever we wanted on the lush green lawns all with a beautiful view of the lake. Our kids absolutely loved the waterpark however I mistakenly thought the price was included in the Hipcamp fees but I was wrong so just be aware the waterpark is run separately to the Hipcamp and you will have to pay on top of your camping fees. Having said that we thought it was worth it and although we wouldn’t pay that kind of money on a regular basis, we were happy to splurge on this occasion and would definitely consider staying again

This was our 2nd time back, my family and me loved be camping/caravanning there, wake up right in front of the ski school dam! Kids (6 and10 yrs old)! loved riding around on the acreages of grass and we all had a blast on the aqua park and paddle boarding on the dams! Only down side is no showers available for hip campers.
We will be back !!!

Great place and location is ideal.
Pros:
The lake with the water park.
Flat camping ground.
Nice toilets, even the portaloos were clean.
Rubbish disposal available.
Access to camping kitchen with electric outlets.
Playground for kids.
Cons:
The train runs overnight you can hear it
Would be better if:
powered sites were offered for hipcamp or if they added power to the rest non powered sites. Showers would be even better, just adding another portable unit with showers.
Overall highly recommended. It's about 15 mins drive from beaches and other things in Port Macquarie.
