What an absolutely special spot. Not only are you close to a Lovely beach and small town but the camping area is just beautiful. Adam advised us where to park, spot on as the weather was starting to get very wet! We went for a short around the area, amazing lake covered in lily pads. Loads of kangaroos! We could only do one night but will definitely stop here on our way back south later in the year! And with Hipcamp’s prices going through the roof, it was reassuring to find somewhere that hadn’t doubled in price over the last 2 years.

Met by Adam promptly and welcomed with a big smile and a hello from his staffie Stella. Given the low down of Red Rock and given plenty of choices to set up.
Great location about 750m to beach and 750m to bowls club and 1km to the tidal river.
Great beach for the walkers or competent surfers otherwise go to little beach or the river and ride the tide.
Bowlo is good although the restaurant is a bit exy for what you get - very welcoming to the influx of school holiday campers!
Definitely a great place to stop for a couple of day or longer to explore the area. Site is great with plenty of bins for rubbish and recycling as well as a dump point.
Only neg in Red Rock is lack of potable water so make sure you fill up and have plenty of drinking water.

Amazing place to camp only a short distance out of the town of Red Rock.
The property was very private, spacious and very well maintained. We loved our short stay here and will definitely be returning!!

Short walk to red rock which was lively for swimming. Enjoyed not being packed tight into a caravan park. Property is beautiful.

We were given many verbal instructions on a phone call on arrival. A map wasn’t provided. There were no signs on the property. We were advised about an “airstrip” which was a grassy, uneven field we didn’t recognise as an airstrip. We continued on the road and received a call that cameras and alarms were going off as we’d gone too far. We found another spot, in an unmarked emergency exit. The ground’s manager found us, informed us of such and that we had also parked too close to the pond edge claiming the likelihood of a diesel spill from our vehicle into the pond and poisoning the water (we’re in a late 2023, well maintained Jayco Conquest). The site has a dump site and grey water disposal area which is great. However your van has to be on the high ground section (4-5m from the site) to get the siphon action happening otherwise you’re hoping grey water will flow uphill.

This camp site was great. Adam the site manager is super nice and helpful.
There’s a compost toliet that’s well maintained and there’s no odours. You need your own shower. I’d recommend to camp with a spare vehicle or some kind of way to get into town to go for a swim. Although it was fine enough for us to walk in aswell. 10-15 min into town to the river which is beautiful and about 5 min to the beach.

Perfect spot for us, so stayed an extra night. We found a quiet spot in the bush to set up and was only about 500m to a beautiful beach and estuary. Very friendly community. Will be back.

Reg’s place was perfect location for us to relax at and use as our base as we explored Red Rock and a little further on to Arrawarra, Woolgoolga and Coffs. We enjoyed the time we got to relax at site, appreciated the dump point facility and the kids loved riding their bikes, exploring the lotus lakes and generally just taking in the beautiful scenery. I went for morning walks to Reg’a to Red Rock, definitely walkable if you need that - we did drive though when all going to swim/ park play etc. thanks for having us!

A beautiful camping spot!! We’ve never stayed on an old landing strip before but it was perfect! Our dog loved the flat, beautiful grass for miles - so private and peaceful. The wildlife was stunning with many kangaroos around! Thanks Adam for the stay - you were super friendly and helpful, rubbish collection was a massive help. Also a 10min walk to the long red rock beach!
