Located just 20km east of Moree on the banks of the Mehi River, Pringy's Farm "Balnagask" is the perfect off-grid escape. Enjoy peaceful camping on beautifully maintained grassy sites (plus more natural sites), abundant wildlife, spectacular sunsets, campfires and incredible stargazing. This season, don't miss our stunning pink and white everlasting daisies creating a dazzling field of native blooms across the farm. Our 200-acre farm is home to miniature goats, a donkey, miniature horses, Texas Longhorn cattle, sheep, chooks, rabbits and more. We're always happy to introduce guests to the animals and share a little about life on the farm. Our three friendly Tenterfield Terriers, Maggie, Bart and Beagle, may even stop by for a cuddle. What we offer: Animal spotting night tours (book via Extras). The chance for kids to help care for our guinea pigs and rabbits during their stay. Handmade "Eurah" soap made on site by Belinda. Seasonal farm produce when available, including free-range eggs, fruit, vegetables and herbs. Composting toilet, potable water, outdoor shower (see Extras) and firewood available for purchase. Things to see and do: Explore nearby Tareelario Weir for fishing, kayaking and swimming, enjoy a meal at the famous Pally Pub, visit the Pally Bush Markets, or unwind in Moree's renowned hot artesian springs. Our working farm is located in the town of Pallamallawa close to Moree. The camping area is a beautifully manicured grass area on the banks of the Mehi River which is part of the Murray Darling catchment. There is an abundance of wildlife and native birds on the river and around the property. You can relax around your campfire in the evening and enjoy some great star gazing. We offer animal spotting night tours and firewood bundles at a small additional costs- please see our extras at the time of booking. The farm also has plenty of novelty animals to see such as alpacas, donkeys, sheeps, chooks, rabbits and much more. We are happy to introduce you to the animals, please just let your host know if you are interested. 1km down the road is access to the Gwydir River which has a boat ramp, access to water skiing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and some excellent fishing. We are also 25km from the Moree artesian hot baths.  Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and campers must clean up after their pets. Campers must bring their own toilet with them.

Enjoy a night in our early 70's Retro Viscount Caravan. Newly renovated inside containing your basic needs, linen, tableware, utensils and access to a toilet and hot shower. "Funky" is located beside the Mehi river. Relax and unwind with a beer, wine or cuppa and enjoy the abundant native birdlife. Sit around an open fire at night (wood supplied) and be amazed by our BIG SKY, gazing at the stars. Private river access where you can enjoy the serenity or drop a line and maybe catch a yellow belly for dinner. Wonder around our beautiful farm and introduce yourself to our unique animals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged at an additional cost. Worried the kids are missing out??? Bring along a tent or swags as "Funky" only sleeps two people together. Additional fees apply for the kids or variation to the basic booking. The perfect set up for novice campers however we do require at least 24 hours' notice prior to the booking.

This place is exceptional! Col the host is so warm and welcoming. I am travelling with my 5 year old son and puppy and he was so kind to us. Gave us lots of great information about property features and local area, and even took my son to feed a baby calf. Highly recommend.

We have enjoyed camping at Pringy farm and hoping to visit back in near future. To add positive feedback, it would be better if they can install power supply till middle of the camping site and need little improvement in toilet. All in all stay was memorable and host were so nice and friendly.

Wow, what a wonderful place to stay! Col and Belinda are the ultimate hosts and were so welcoming, helpful and happy to accommodate any requests. We brought the grandkids along for a weekend getaway at Pringy and Belinda’s farm, and they had an absolute ball! There was so much to see and explore — from the picturesque campsite right on the Mehi River, to all the animals, beautiful gardens and plenty of space to wander and discover. The highlight for the kids was definitely the buggy tour — they absolutely loved it! Thank you, Col and Belinda, for sharing your beautiful home and farm with us. We had such a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back — next time with the rest of the family! Highly recommend this wonderful Hipcamp! ❤️

We decided to stay here on the basis of the reviews and they weren’t wrong!!! Col and Belinda were extremely attentive and welcoming hosts full of information and lots of stories! The animals were all adorable even for a pair of grownups without kids!! We parked on the edge of the creek with a huge fire pit and massive log table to use and just relaxed. The stars at night, sooooo many birds this is a little slice of heaven. If you need solar gain then some pitches are definitely going to be better than others but if you put that request in your booking I know Col will lead you to the best spot. A definite one to return to.

Great campsites, quiet & well spaced. Well grassed & clean amenities. Hosts were very friendly & welcoming. Plenty to see & do if desired, & a safe & secure spot to use as a base for Moree & surrounds exploration. For us, our primary question when rating a stay is would we go there again - in this case a big thumbs up!

The Cattle Yard Camp
We stayed overnight in our van at Pringys and it was wonderful. Col and his partner were so friendly and are very passionate about their farm, their animals and the village they are very much a part of. We got to wander around and meet lots of animals before settling into the warmth of our van to enjoy the beautiful sunset. It’s a must do if you are in the area.

Great private spot pretty close to our route for a night stop over. We got some firewood and had an awesome night beside the river. Host was great, came and greeted us to make sure we knew how the shower and toilets worked. Great little spot, quiet and private, will be staying again.

Just delightful! We will definitely be back. The sites are a good size, and the farm sites are grassy and beautifully landscaped. We booked the Cattle Yard Camp but Pringy upgraded us to one of the farm sites as the calves were being weaned and the Cattle Yard site could have been noisy. Pringy was a super friendly host, pointing out all the animals and fruit trees to the kids. Very peaceful spot with good space between sites, fire pits in every site and the creek is just there - as are ALL the different animals!

Lovely spot to spend a couple of nights at while in Moree for the weekend. Beautiful property with plenty of space between campsites, fire pits and seating areas for most sites and well-functioning composting toilet and outdoor shower. Col was super friendly and responsive and made me feel very welcomed. Only about 15 min out of Moree so super easy to access anything there but still felt really safe as a solo traveller.

This camp site caters for almost everyone; from sites with a flushed toilet, a compost toilet and hot shower to sites where you can self sufficient! Camp sites are next to the river, has big area to spread around and enjoy in solitude or with family and friends. You can enjoy sun rise and sun set daily. The best part is that it is only 15 minutes from Moree where you can enjoy hot spring at the Aquatic Centre! Host Col is very welcoming. There are many farm animals to keep young children entertained!

Hands down one of the best hip camps to stay at! The host was genuine, welcoming and incredibly accomodating when it comes to all needs when camping. He has an incredible range of animals which were all very loving and happy to be apart of the adventure. I would recommend this hip camp to all. 10/10 experience.
