Nice quiet location just outside of Walgett. Nice level ground with camp sites close to river. Stayed 3 nights & felt completely safe, even though I was the only person camping. Did not get to meet the farm hosts, which I thought was unfortunate. Even a quick drop in to say hello would have been nice. Home grown vegetables, preserves etc were available for purchase from the honesty van situated at the gate.

Not private but nice enough
We did enjoy our camp here and it was nice by the river but unfortunately the site was way too close to the hosts house and it didn't feel private at all. When advertised on 110 acres I really didn't expect to be near the house or even be able to see the house. For our first night there were 5 campers by the river so a bit over crowded. We ended up leaving a day early for this reason.

Niece spot right on river quite only the sounds of birds and fish jumping in the river yep there are carp there but they are entailing luke was friendly host and kept farm stay clean

Lots of space to pitch up with easy vehicle access. River was nice but the owners home and farm buildings were a bit too close for my liking.

Great spot right next to water.
Big area to camp with camp fire in place.
Other campers barely in site .
Easy to get to camp spot with a little shop with odds and ends.
Wood was handy to purchase .
Nice shade from trees also.
Carp made fishing a bit annoying at the time unfortunately !

Great place to relax
Muddy Waters - just outside Walgett on Barwon river.
Wonderful riverside camping - unpowered right on rivers edge - great for a group get together.
Powered also available further back - recovering from flood so lost their grass.
Fully self contained only - no amenities - yet - future plans.
Short trip to town for water, dump point and good IGA.
Lovely owners Luke and Carolyn very helpful.
Canoes and boat hire, fishing and yabbie nets.
Campfires and wood available
Great peaceful place - thoroughly recommend very reasonably priced.

Exceptional
A fantastic spot! Right on the water, can have a fire, fun for the kids with swings in the trees and a rope swing. Lovely hosts. Peaceful and tranquil. Would stay again!

Stunning river side spot
Luke was so welcoming and gave us many options for our site spot, it's stunning by the river with fire pits dotted along the riverside.
Waking up to sounds of nature was amazing. We loved it - thank you!

Great little spot to park up for a night or if the river is up you can drop a line in or even launch a little tinny off the boat ramp and stay a few days. Luke, the host, was a top bloke!

Camp site on the river was amazing. The fresh produce made it extra special… fresh eggs, pumpkins and sauces! Not to mention the free silver beet.

Easy to follow directions
Heaps of spots to choose from
Peaceful and close to town.
We used it as a base to lightning ridge as the caravan parks there were slabs of dirt
Muddy waters , your own little spot by the creek

Absolutely fabulous!!
Absolutely fabulous at Muddy Waters. Luke, very friendly and welcoming, greeted us with a bunch of organic silverbeet. Very yummy. We camped on the Riverside and had it all to ourselves. We had a magnificent fire and at sunset got some wonderful photos of the water and gum trees. We didn't want to leave, however, we will be back for a longer stay next time. Easy to get into campsite and plenty of wood for fire.

This was my first stop on the way to Perth and it was a fantastic start to the trip. Luke and Carolyn are very friendly and generous with their home grown produce, and I took a quieter spot on the creek away from everyone on the river. Really enjoyed my overnight stay, could have easily stayed another couple of nights
