We run a sheep farm on our property located north east of Dubbo. This is the land of big sky country. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here along with starry nights, beside the campfire especially when the full moon arrives. It is nothing short of amazing as you marvel at the sights from the verandah of The Tiny Home or from your campsite. Not far from our property you’ll find the Goonoo CCA Zone 1 National Park. CCA Zone parks are Community Conservation Areas reserved as national parks. The greater Dubbo region offers many activities for tourists, adventure seekers and nature lovers. The Tiny House is fully self-contained with a fold out double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a fridge, cookware and utensils and a BBQ. The bathroom/laundry are separate. We also offer a campsite for additional family members or friends. You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360 degree views. Meet the locals (emus) or see the sheep being shorn if your booking coincides at the same time. Pets are by special request only.

Pitch a tent, park your camper or caravan. Grey water is permitted to be released on site however we cannot allow dumping of your toilets, there are dump points in Dubbo and Dunedoo. Cool off in the dam on warm days or enjoy relaxing around the campfire under the stars. Go for walks in the bush on the early mornings. The Amenities are shared with other campers, however if you would prefer to have "full private" access please book the Tiny house this will give you the freedom of camping alone or with family and friends. If it hasn't already been booked!! Sheep and working dogs occasionally move in close proximity to the site along with tractors, trucks and other farm equipment therefore it could be a little noisy at times. We do our best to respect your privacy.

Watch the sunset on the verandah or relax by the firepit on a starry night with no interference of town lights. The full moon is nothing short of amazing here, this is big sky country.  The Tiny House is fully contained with a Leather lounge that folds out to a cozy Double bed and a little kitchenette featuring a convection microwave, fridge, cookware and utensils, a BBQ for cooking outside. Separate bathroom/Laundry. Drinking water is available. We ask guests to take all their rubbish with them please. You're welcome to go for a swim in the dam, which is a short walk away, or take a stroll to the top of the rocky hill to see 360-degree views. Meet the locals (emus) or see the sheep being shorn if your booking coincides at the same time. pets by request only please. The Tiny house can be booked privately if you would like your family/friends to camp together, if this is what your after add it in the extras, many thanks.

Very quite and peaceful. Large flat area for camping and the shower and toilet were modern and clean. We meet Kim and the girls and Kim let us use the cabins facilities. The fire pit was tops.

A wonderful farm to stay at and the amenities are so wonderful, clean and accessible. The ground was a little hard to bash in the pegs but it didn’t stop us from laying out the swag under the stars. Great communication

The Tiny House
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kim’s farm and would 100% recommend. Great location, away from the hustle and bustle but still easy driving distance to Dubbo. Clean and tidy amenities, modern shower, everything needed for cooking. The fire pit was great and wood was provided. Kim went above and beyond for us, after we froze on the first night, providing us with an extra blanket for the remainder of the stay. Peaceful and serene. Loved it. Thanks Kim.

Camping Under the Stars
We loved our camping trip at Murrungundy South! We had plenty of space for the kids and dogs. The fire pit was beautiful and firewood easy to arrange. The tiny house with kitchenette and bathroom were a huge bonus and was just the thing we needed after being on the road for a couple of weeks. We even got to wash our clothes! Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Great set up! Designer living room and bathroom, campers may use. I had the place to myself and I was happy. It’s a working farm and you are camped in the midst of the business. But I liked that. Very silent! And flat! Charming host.

Such a beautiful space. We had a full moon and clear skies to appreciate the starry night. Amenities of the tiny house were clean and very welcoming. We were in Dubbo for the zoo and the drive to the zoo was only approx half an hour but the reward when you get back to camp of peacefulness and relaxation is well worth it. Heaps of space for a game of cricket and sit down to watch the sun set. Totally recommend this camp spot we will definitely be back when we are in the area. Thanks Kim. 💛

We enjoyed camping under the stars. Clean and tidy spot with the convenience of a toilet and shower. Kim was responsive and helpful. Property easy to find and accessable for all vehicles. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Kim’s farm. Beautiful setting and huge sky. We booked the cabin and also camped which worked well. Everything we needed including a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge. Hot water for washing up and showers. We hope to come back again. Thanks Kim

We are 2 young females who travel a lot, & we loved this campsite. There was another couple who camped there as well, and we stayed up and had a fire and had a few gins. The amenities provided were awesome, super hot shower, clean toilet. Only suggestion is if people have booked camping, I wouldn’t book out the cabin at the same time as the only reason I booked this place was because we don’t have a shower or toilet in our suv camper. Lucky for us there was no one booked into the cabin so we could use the whole little house. It’s perfect, it’s quite, beautiful views, far enough out away from the main bit of dubbo but not too far out which I loved. We got a lamb, sourdough, egg pack. Which I highly recommend, the lamb was absolutely Devine. If I was passing through Dubbo again, I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved this campsite and would highly recommend to anyone. Kim is a wonderful host and the communication was perfect. Grounds and amenities were well kept and prepped for our arrival. Also not too far from Dubbo for restocking.

Very quiet well maintained area. The little cottage is very cute and the use of toilet and shower was fantastic. Kim came down to meet us and ended up taking our grand son for a ride on her 4wheel motorbike kids were very excited. Well worth the stay. Cheers Kylie Parbs and family

We had a wonderful 3night stay our kids and grandkids joined us we had space to our selves. Our host was fantastic to deal with and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We had the use of showers toilet and power . Would highly recommend this hip camp. Thankyou kim

Great location! The camp area and bathroom facilities are very well maintained with plenty of space. Our kids loved running around, riding bikes and seeing the sheep and cows in neighbouring paddocks. Setup was easy with the level ground and power supplied from the little house/shared bathroom.

Nice place to stay just out of Dubbo. It's nice to not have the hustle of a caravan park when you can avoid it. We were initially confused about where the amenities were because I assumed the 'tiny house' was something you had to book separately. The amenities ARE the tiny house just for anyone else who might be in future confused ha ha. They're really clean and modern and nice and we enjoyed our quiet stay on the farm.

We had a great stay. The house itself is very well equipped and comfortable - very warm during some particularly cold nights during our stay. Amazing visibility of the stars and the feeling of seclusion. Highly recommend

A beautiful little cottage welcomed us to the site with flowers, a note, and fantastic bathroom facilities. We had the place to ourselves so set up the van and sat on the veranda with some wine and cheese. Perfect. Stars were out and we were happy. THANKYOU

This place was very pleasant to stay at. Although a fair distance to drive from Sydney, I don't think there was anything that I could fault. The shared toilet/shower and kitchen was very clean and generous. On our first night we had other campers on the campgrounds but there was enough room for us to space ourselves so we would not bother other campers. The ground was flat so setting up was a breeze. The main highlight was actually the night sky, the surrounding area was far and wide so there was nothing blocking the entire starry sky lighting up the night (even though it meant that it was windier and cooler than expected, so bring an extra layer of clothing). Would camp here again if the opportunity comes!

Easy alternative to staying in Dubbo town for family trip to the zoo. The farm was easy to find and camping spot in an open, spacious,we-maintained location. Handy access to fresh water, electricity, bathroom and toilet. Enjoyed the stay.

Wow - What a fantastic place to camp!!! Easy trip out of town, Heaps of space. Beautiful, clean Kitchen and toilet. We added the "Half dozen eggs 2 Lamb chops fresh "seasonal" herbs vegies sour dough loaf" and it was sensational. If your looking for a spot near Dubbo as home base - then this spot is it! Host was fantastic and non intrusive and always ready to help.
