Lanark Lodge Campsite
Wonderful place to stay, very serene by the river, surrounded by bird life. Clean portaloos and lovely fire pits. Thank you, we will be back for a longer stay next time

3 letters described this santuary WOW. Came here to relax and unwind the aura of Dales property is spot on. Fish cows kookaburras. So very oz.Yes does have mobile coverage for people who need it.
Will be making this our come back retreat. Portable loos ×2 very clean. My dog loved it. Thanks Dale

Road in was very heavily corrugated but once you get there... fish jumping both sides of the weir!

Awesome little spot along the creek. Portaloo toilets were also clean and are a great addition. Dale was a very nice host.

Dale kindly booked us in on short notice when the bushfires changed our original plans. The camp sites are in a great position on the river on level well mowed ground. During the bushfire emergency it was reassuring to have good phone, radio and TV reception. Great spot for kayaking and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Dales place Dale was very friendly and helpful.its a great spot by the creek and we had a nice kayak into the National Park Very quiet and private with fish jumping and a campfire. The portals is great and very clean

Great camping. We have traveled around australia for 8 plus years. One of the best ( maybe the best) .the creek is more of a river. It is part of the Clarence river. Dale wasn't there. Greg the caretaker a real gentleman. Will be returning.

Great place, easy access to grounds on great river frontage. Pelicans graced the river as cattle grazed the opposite banks. Fire wood available for a small fee. Nice clear, well kept grounds that maintained a rural camping feel. We'll be back.

Absolutely stunning site, so serene - beautiful. Right on the water and with a fantastic fire pit. The host was great and very helpful. Definitely book this place if you are looking for complete peace and quiet. Also great for a fish.

Great place to take in all the activities to do by the river, we caught mud crabs (which were delish!) Easy access for boat and kayaks to enter. Toilets clean and stocked well of toilet paper.

Just Perfection. Right on the river. Fish on offer, Everything has been thought of. Mowed walking tracks to get the most from the property to rod holders at every camp site. This is a must do and a must redo, Thank you for sharing this beautiful place. just perfect.

Camping beside the river was just so peaceful, we had the site all to ourselves. The fire pits all stocked with firewood were a nice touch and the portaloo was very clean. We can thoroughly recommend this well cared for and presented Youcamp . Will be back for more kayaking in the future, thank you.

Lanark Lodge is a great location, close to Lawrence when you run out of gas, plenty of water in the river to swim in, few other campers. Greg, the farm manager, is very friendly and helpful. Just stay clear of the Tullymorgan Rd, it's in a terrible state!

Booked in for 1 night, stayed for 3!! Great site, good fishing & swimming, very peaceful & abundant wildlife . Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to relax enjoy nature

Beautiful location. Absolutely had a fabulous time. Relaxing with Heeps to do. Dale
has an awesome set up ,clean toilets and plenty of firewood to use. Great fishing. Great mixing with the cows. Local pub and shop very easy to access. Great feed and view from pub. There was plenty of room .

This is a beautiful property, great for bird watching & going off grid. Thanks to Greg who hosted us, he was lovely & very knowledgeable on the area. You can flick a lure around, walk the track by the river, camp on a nice grassy bank & enjoy a camp fire. They even have a couple of portaloos!

Another great weekend camping at Lanark Lodge. This was our second trip buFish weren’t biting this time but our dogs enjoyed long walks and the good weather. Our camping neighbours were very respectful and we all enjoyed the sounds of the birds and the running creek. Will definitely be back again.
