106 acres of beautiful land in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Wollombi Brook frontage for campsites. Bush walking, fishing, swimming and exploring the local historical area are a few things you can do. Or just chill by the brook. Campers have their own private paddock right on the brook. Access available to portaloo toilet, and is a short walk away on the main property.Pitch your tent by the river and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Abundant bird life and occasional visits by wombats and kangaroos. Throw a fishing line into the river and you might get lucky. Jump in for a swim, and the sandy river bank makes a great picnic spot. The main property is over the road just a short few hundred meters to the portaloo. The main property is not accessible to campers save for use of the toilet between 8am - 7pm. Vehicles are NOT permitted directly adjacent to the campsites, and cannot be driven to the site to unload. The sites are a short 15-70mtr walk from the parking area. The sites are NOT suitable for camper trailers or rooftop tents. The property is only 7mins drive out of Wollombi where you’ll find great places to eat and explore. The wineries start 15mins up the road. Plenty of restaurants and great places to visit 20-30mins away in the Hunter Wine Region. NOTE: This property is a working farm. There are animals on the main property where the toilets are (chickens/ducks/horses). There are also friendly dogs that visit the camping area and cannot be restrained. The camping area is a quiet zone, no loud music at any time. Noise to be kept to a minimum.

Very nice stay, thanks Erin for the warm welcome. We enjoyed the river fishing (caught 2 big carp !) Nice to have the whole place to ourselves !

- Sites are a lot closer to the road than explained. - Toilets are much further away than expected (and only available during day time…) - Importantly the shower situation is very poor. Advertised as a site with showers, but only available between 4-730pm (!?) at the host’s house. + Location is pretty.

Our stay was fantastic! Campsites are extremely well spaced out. Location is easily accessible. Mary is a very kind and hospitable host, and I look forward to our next visit. One thing to remember is the shower and and bathroom should be used sparingly though.

My partner and I loved our stay, it was perfect for the weekend and we managed to fit in some wine tours in the nearby Hunter. We fell in love with the dogs on the property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and felt off the grid!

Beautiful little spot, the town of Wollombi has a gorgeous little pub that is well worth the short trip into town to visit. Very cute little cafes there as well! Lovely, clean little spot, not much water when we went but would still go back anytime!

A nice quiet spot in a tree-filled part of NSW. We didn't have reception at the site (Telstra) so keep that in mind before you arrive. While we were there the creek was looking a little stagnant so we chose not to swim.

We had a fun stay here with my daughters and niece. Instructions were clear and Erin came over to welcome us and left us to our own devices. The sites are well set apart along the river bank. Whilst the sites are near the road there are few cars later in the day. The river system was quite dry so it took us some time to find the deepest pool (it was hot !) . It was great being able to visit the farm and see the chooks and horses. The visits every 2-3 hours by the beautiful Maremma do was a special treat. I note the cars are a bit away from the campsites so a trolley might be worth considering.

I have been using Hipcamp since before it changed it’s name from Youcamp and have never dealt with such a rude and dismissive host. When we arrived after driving around the Hunter Valley all day the owner was not on the property and had locked the gates to the amenities. Their dog started barking at us at the gate as soon as we arrived making it impossible for my children to get to the bathroom even though the access is advertised to be available between 8am and 8pm We waited for 30 minutes (dog barking the entire time) looking around the campsite noticing that the "short walk" from car is much further than the 15 meters advertised and has a fairly steep hill down to the campsites, while this will be fine for some, it's not ideal for families having to carry things like large eskies. After waiting for over half an hour with no idea of when the host would arrive to let us into the bathroom we went back into town and found somewhere else to stay. The host has been frankly insulting while trying to arrange a refund with comments like “Given you arrived and determined the site was too far away (some 15mtrs walk) I would wonder why you needed the toilet at all. The toilet is for people staying here. Once you had decided to leave the toilet access became irrelevant.“ If you actually need a bathroom at your campsite this really isn't the campsite for you.

Lovely shady spot (site 3), flat and private. A bit of a hike to the port a loo. Friendly farm dogs woke me earlier than I would have naturally woken. Nowhere near as many mozzies as expected.

We had a beautiful two nights at Kylie's Run, especially as we had the place to ourselves. Erin was very helpful with any questions. The spot was quiet and swimming in the river was lovely. Awesome to have a fire on the riverbed also, plenty of firewood about. Toilet & shower facilities were great. Just be mindful you have to park your car away from the sites so have to carry your gear about 70m up & down a hill.

My friend and I stayed in site 2 which is the smaller of the three sites however it was still quite roomy even with our two 2-man tents and chair/table set up. It was great to be able to swim in the river which was surprisingly cleaner than expected! Remember to look up at night as the stars were gorgeous. Wollombi is a beautiful area to explore as well. We had a fantastic time. The only downside was the flies (including March flies) but I’m sure they’d be okay at certain times of the year.

Spent a beautiful night riverside. The spot allowed for my kids to wander and explore. Plenty of wood for a good fire to keep warm and hosts are friendly and very helpful.

We loved everything about our stay at Kylies Run! Such a peaceful and beautiful spot. We we're lucky enough to have the river bay area all to ourselves for the long weekend and enjoyed every minute there by the river. Each campsite were very dispersed around the property, so you won't even notice that there are other campers around. Erin was absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful and she bought down her dogs Lexi and Riley which was an extra bonus. We definitely will be back here. Thanks Erin :)

I had an excellent camping trip at Erin's place . It was a beautiful spot and was very peaceful by the river! I loved the farm dogs, they are so friendly and playful. Only a short walk to the camp spot and fire on the river bank. Thank you Erin, it was a nice weekend away!

We absolutely loved this spot and we’re so grateful Erin shared her beautiful property with us. Her friendly dogs were an added bonus. This spot is just magic. It was only an hour and half away from us but we felt so far away without having to drive too far. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone wanting to camp with freshwater nearby and beautiful scenery surrounding your camp. The camp site was pristine and couldn’t of been any more perfect. The price of this spot is so incredibly reasonable for what you get. Although a bit of traffic passes by, it’s really not noticeable and very minimal especially at night. It didn’t spoil the serenity. We hope to be back one day soon! Thanks again for having us Erin!

Great spot in a great location. Only 10-15 mins to a bunch of wineries and pubs, and the campsite is right by a river which is good for fishing and swimming. Enough space for a few tents and the sandy beach area was perfect for campfires. Erin was great at communicating and very friendly and welcoming. There is a road close by but doesn’t really impact the quality of the place and no noise at night. Would recommend!
