Imago Forest is a beautiful bush block and biodynamic orchard near Mt Royal National Park. There are spectacular views over the valley and lake. Just 3hrs from Sydney. Some things to do on the property: * Sit back and take in the incredible views * Roast marshmallows around a campfire * Walk in gorgeous tall forests with some century old trees * Swim in the dam * Climb in the tree next to the cottage * Tour of the permaculture mandala garden (when I'm around) About camping here: * 4WD and AWD access - all year around. * 2WD access - Oct-May in dry weather. (The Big Shed site is 2WD accessible all year) * Families are welcome * Well-behaved dogs are welcome * There is mobile phone reception at some of the sites. Sometimes it isn't fantastic, at other times you can stream Netflix. Some of the things you can do nearby: * Do the majestic Mt Royal walk * Fish or boat on nearby Lake St Clair * Stop in at some of the Hunter Valley wineries on your way * Search online for "Carrowbrook forecast" to get the closest weather forecast

Teepee - BYO tent

75%
(4)
Tent site · Sleeps 3
Next to the dam near the wooden poles of a teepee, this site is right next to the dam for easy swimming and plenty of afternoon shade. There is also space next to the teepee pad to set up a tent. Note the teepee cover is not on the poles, it is just the poles! However if you would like to try sleeping in a proper teepee, get in touch to see if our other listing is active where we set the teepee up for you. Nearby is a shared composting toilet and fresh drinking water (subject to rain) next to the cottage. * This site is flat and is for tent camping only. * It is a 30m level walk to this site from where you will park the car

Cherry Blossom

This is a premium spot set on a lovely grassy spot directly above the dam with views out over the valley. A rock ringed campfire site with stumps to sit on is the perfect place to end the day. Trees provide shade and the grass is soft.  If you have more than seven people, you can also book the Hammock site which is close by and spread your group out between the two spots. Nearby is a shared composting toilet and dam for swimming in. *The site has had some work to create a flatter spot suitable for one car or two smaller tents. * Search online for "Carrowbrook forecast" to get the closest weather forecast

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 6 m
This is a more spacious site suitable for larger groups or those with camper trailers. It is to the right (east) of the dam and has a great view over the valley.  A rock ringed campfire site with stumps to sit on provides a perfect place to end the day. Nearby trees provide shade and a place to hang a hammock.  If you have more than five people, you can also book the Cherry Blossom site which is close by and spread your group out between both sites. Also nearby is a shared composting toilet and a dam for swimming in  *The site has had some work to create flatter spots for cars or tents in a line * Search online for "Carrowbrook forecast" to get the closest weather forecast

Secluded Clearing

RV/tent site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 2 m
A spot to yourself in a clearing in the forest. There aren't any other campers near this site at all. Suitable for larger sized groups. The site is newly made and rough around the edges. But if you like it that way, you'll like it just fine. Get in touch to ask about the conditions at the time of your booking, or if you have a whipper snipper, feel free to bring that. One of the spots looks over a small gully giving you a bit of a "view". * Search online for "Carrowbrook forecast" to get the closest weather forecast

RV/tent site · Sleeps 12 · Vehicles under 2 m
Right in amongst tall eucalypt forest, this site is perfect for those with 2WDs and who want their own private site. The grass here can sometimes get long, so ask me about it before booking, or bring a whipper snipper! There is a large open shed here that is not part of the camp site. * Search online for "Carrowbrook forecast" to get the closest weather forecast
