We have 40 beautiful acres on The Snowy River Way in Jindabyne with several large, private sites. Groups are welcome to have their own spot together and each site has a fire pit. We are only 10 minutes from Lake Jindabyne – turn left to head up to the mountains (a further 30 minutes to Thredbo or Perisher) or right to explore Jindabyne township and its boutiques, breweries, cafes and cinema. Stop in at The Station Resort on the way back from the mountains, just five minutes away for a nice feed and game of pool (during winter). Our property is on a hill with a dam midway up if you’re looking for a nice walk. Do a loop for spectacular views! Come and enjoy the beautiful outlook and natural wildlife. Rest in peace and privacy or get out to enjoy all the Snowy Mountains has to offer. Whether you come for snow sports, water sports, biking, hiking, yoga or reading – adventure and relaxation awaits. Access to all sites is via a tree-lined driveway. To get to the western paddock and Sunset, Pine View and Hilltop sites, the turn off the drive to get through the fence means that small to medium setups are suitable. To get to the eastern paddock and Sunrise and Birch Grove sites, the turn off the driveway is a bit wider to allow for larger setups. Please check the details for size recommendations – the maximum sizes listed are for your total setup, including your car and anything towed. The sites at the bottom of the property closest to the road have easy access and more protection in windy weather, but if you have a 4WD and are wanting to sit and enjoy the 360 degree rural views then head up the hill to our Hilltop site. We can supply firewood, kindling and fire starters for a small fee, just message us in advance, or you can BYO. Strictly no foraging for wood from the property please. There’s also no power hookups, taps or toilets so it's fully self-sufficient camping. For the peace of other campers, we don't allow generators or pets, sorry. This site is at the bottom of the property on the western side, with easy access. Perfect to enjoy a large campfire and amazing views with snow-capped mountains in winter. Vehicles may be passing to get to other campsites but guests will have approximately 500sqm of grassy space to set up on and a few acres of land to enjoy in peace and privacy. ** Please note that the maximum overall length per setup is recommended as 10 metres or less – that includes your vehicle and anything towed.

This site has the most spectacular views from the top of Harros Hill. Camp near the row of pines on the western boundary with a beautiful outlook. This campsite is easily accessible with a large, gently sloping grass area and full privacy. The fire pit has a wind break and there is a gully and large dam bordering the site, both are usually dry unless there has been a lot of rain. Fun to explore in the dry or have a swim when it’s wet! ** Please note that the overall length per setup is recommended as 10 metres or less – that includes your vehicle and anything towed.

The veiw of the mountains here is incredible. Only 40 mins to the slopes and 15min to Jindy. The hosts were amazing providing a nice bundle of firewood daily for a small fee because I didn’t have time to get my own while snowboarding all day. Very much appreciated.

A great location / easy drive to Thredbo & Perisher. On 15 minutes to Jindabyne. We loved our three night stay. Enjoyed a camp fire each night. Mel and Greg were lovely. Very accommodating. Would def stay here again and recommend to family / friends

Camping at Hilltop is such an amazing spot. Beautiful views with great, accommodating hosts. Wonderful, peaceful location, short drive to the shops and not too far from the mountain. Worked perfectly for our yearly snow trip. Absolutely the nicest people, would 100% recommend this spot for anyone looking for a convenient location.

This was a beautiful property to stay in! Super easy to get to, direction when you enter property to your campsite. Little fire pit to keep you warm and perfect position from the ski fields not a long drive to town or Perisher

Such a nice sunset view. Actually really not far from Perisher such like 20mins by drive. We decided stay for 2 nights. Our first night such a perfect day cold and quite in private farm. The second day unfortunately we had a camp setup later on the weather was too crazy windy and bad weather conditions. We decided to pack up and leave. If we have opportunity for sure will back it again. Such a lovely place for camp

I could literally not recommend camping here more, beautiful scenery and amazing atmosphere. Mel and Greg are 2 of the loveliest people I’ve ever met, helping us when my car got bogged and assisting us so kindly and putting up with our inexperience 😅. If you want to camp while visiting the ski slopes, or simply just stay at a beautiful peaceful place this is 1000% the spot to go. If i could leave a tip I would.

Amazing campsite! The hosts were fantastic, the facilities spotless, and we had the whole place to ourselves. Camping in a field surrounded by kangaroos was such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

We loved sunrise. The wildlife was a real treat and the stars were spectacular. Loved the warmth of the campfire especially as it was a cool night (thanks Greg for fixing us up with firewood). Thanks Greg and Mel for being such great hosts and allowing us to stay at your beautiful property. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for three nights at the Sunset camp. It was just beautiful. The campsite was very protected and there is a lovely view across the paddocks to the Snowy Mountains. The campsite was pristine and the fireplace was well positioned for a campfire. The entry to the paddock was tight with a 21’ caravan so we took it slow and were fine to get in. Greg was great and made sure that we had enough firewood for our stay.

Coaster camping on top of the hill

Hilltop was a large private area with panoramic views of the mountains. We enjoyed the serenity and wildlife in the surrounding paddocks. The gravel track up the hill wasn’t an issue for our Toyota Coaster. Highly recommended and thanks to Greg and Mel, will definitely be back again.

Plenty of room for caravans on the Sunset site. It is on a bit of a incline so bring your ramps. Mel and Greg are lovely and we'll definitely stay again bext time we visit Jindabyne!

Ripper view. We had very low winds (tends to die down in the evening even more), which made the spot great for roof top tent and cooking. Very easy to find the address and site signs :)

Mel and greg are great hosts directions and communication was great only 10 min out of Jindabyne and have area to yourself we stayed at pine view little tricky getting in with 19ft van if you have larger there are easier sites we will stay again if in the area

great view, windy on the night we were there, but well worth it. We pulled a Caravan up the hill easily, it may be an issue in wet weather. We also really liked being located out of the busy town. Our First experience with hip camp was a good one. Thanks Mel and Greg
