Welcome to Glenmore, a family owned 3500acre property in the beautiful Inverell region. We offer 2 well maintained campsites and a newly renovated house (The Old School House) for farm stay holiday rental. The perfect location to fully enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside. All sites are easily accessible by 4WD and suitable for tents, caravans or motorhomes. Both campsites and The Old School House have fire pits with complimentary wood for the first night stay. If the weather is windy we have custom made fire pits which can be installed. Additional wood bundles available for purchase upon request. Our beautiful property offers scenic bush and open grassland walking tracks to features like our waterfall and cliff top where you can enjoy expansive views of the property. Sundowner’s Hill, easily accessed from the Saw Mill campsite, is a rocky outcrop perfect for an afternoon vino whilst enjoying a spectacular sunset. We are pet friendly however we do have livestock on the property, therefore dogs etc must be well controlled at all times. Excellent fishing opportunities for Murray Cod available on dams near campsites however please catch and release. We will let you know designated fishing areas on your arrival. Bring your own kayak or canoe (life jackets) for a paddle on the main dam. All campers need to be fully self-sufficient regarding toilet and shower and take all waste away with them on departure. The Saw Mill campsite is a large, grassy, flat area with a designated fire pit. The old saw is a nostalgic reminder of the rich timber history of Glenmore, much of which was used to build sheds and buildings on the property. Enjoy expansive views across grasslands and enjoy the peace and serenity. The campsite is easily accessed from the main track. You can walk to the nearby cliffs or enjoy a vino at Sundowners Hill.

The Hargan Saw Campsite offers beautiful 360 degree views at the front portion of our property. It is a lovely grassy cleared area with a designated fire pit. Easily accessed from the main road into Glenmore, you will see the Hargan Saw on the right directing you to the campsite. The site has a gentle slope. The Hargan Saw or "Widow Maker" as it was commonly known, was used in the timber milling days and had a reputation for being a treacherous piece of machinery often throwing pieces of timber back into the operator!

The Old School House offers a farm stay experience for those wanting to "get away from it all". It has been fully renovated including a brand new bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, play room and 4 spacious bedrooms. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people (1xQueen, 1x Double, and 4xSingles) and is perfect for families, groups of friends or a quiet couples retreat. Please BYO linen and towels. Quilt covers and pillows provided. No need to nag the kids to get off devices, there's no TV or WiFi at the house. Instead families and friends will re connect with each other around the firepit whilst enjoying the peace and tranquility of Glenmore Farm. Nearby dams are great for fishing Murray Cod and yabbying whilst Sundowners Hill is a short walk from the house and offers the perfect spot for an afternoon vino whilst enjoying a spectacular sunset and star gazing. Pets are allowed but must strictly stay outside. The large yard is partially fenced but pets must be secured at night time. Plenty of opportunity for bush walks and exploring and learning about life on a farm.

Hargan Saw Camp
We had a wonderful stay at Glenmore Farm. We are a family of 5 travelling around Australia and Alec made us feel right at home. Alec took us on a tour of his shearing shed and explained the process of shearing sheep to the kids. He even taught us how to catch yabbies in the dam which the kids loved! The nights were beautiful, just us on the property and we could hear all the animals come alive. Clear skies and thousands of stars to watch while sitting around the camp fire. We would highly recommend a stay at the Hargan Saw camp at Glen more Farm 😊 lots of fun for the whole family!

Hargan Saw Camp
Peaceful stay outing country. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Alec was so accomodating and friendly. Coming to check in on us making sure we were ok and settled, also bringing some extra fire wood and to top it off, some fresh venison steaks on our departure day. 10km of good condition dirt road on the way in, no issues and about 30 mins from inverell. Beautiful peaceful outlook, plenty of places to walk and check out the view. Will definitely be back when coming past again.

The family had a fantastic time staying at the old school house, the sunsets are magnificent and with zero light pollution the night sky is fantastic. A great place to take the family.

We had a great spor watched a storm roll in one night very entertaining, beautiful dam to swim and kayak in. Our host were fantastic got a guided tour around property and learned a lot about land care. We will definitely go back.

Perfect pit stop for us on the way back across the country. Good for the dogs, lovely views and away from the maddening crowds. Shame the weather was coming in so we had a windy showery night, otherwise perfect. Excellent communication with host.

What a wonderful find!!! Lovely level grassy camping spot with gorgeous views of the surrounding farmland all the way out to the mountains! Our wonderful hosts also had lots of firewood neatly stacked ready for us to use! Lisa and Alec are fantastic hosts, going out of their way to make sure our stay was great and we were Ok (especially during a very stormy weather day). There was great communication throughout!!! Thanks so much for having us….we will be back!
