The property was easy to find and is situated just on the outskirts of Braidwood. Peter had mowed the lawn behind the Woolshed and set up a fire pit and supplied plenty of wood. I set up camp next to the pond (which Peter did not mind). The sunset was amazing and seeing the entire Milky Way was spectacular. The sheep, cows and ducks on the pond provided much entertainment while relaxing in the sun. While it was cold and foggy, I was never freezing in my hot tent. Peter is very friendly, helpful and generous. I can’t wait to come back (with my wife) and show her this serene beauty.

Beautiful tidy peaceful campsite close to Braidwood. Loved seeing the stars and having a fire. It’s BYO toilets - and for $5 you can shower at the Showground but enjoy the much nicer ambiance at the Wool shed. Loved it and will recommend.

Beautiful old historic building with a well maintained grassy patch to set up on. No facilities as advertised, so come prepared. Conveniently close to town. Peter was very helpful and quick to respond to my messages.

Absolutely beautiful spot to spend a night or even longer. Mostly level grassy area to camp alongside a beautiful pond with heaps of ducks and farm animals around. Even a couple of very friendly puppies to keep you company. Far enough from the road to be quiet yet close enough to town and all amenities. Loved staying here and felt very welcome and safe. 10/10!!

Lovely hosts - great location close to town with super views over the paddocks to the ranges. Peter supplied us with firewood so we could sit outside in the early evening to enjoy the sunset. Braidwood is a gem of a town with a range of cuisine on offer to tempt the tastebuds. We keep coming back.

Great place to base yourself to enjoy Braidwood. It was really nice being able to eat dinner at the onsite restaurant and have a cocktail sitting by their indoor fire. The kids especially loved the neighbours pugs and the resident cat, Willow.

We booked this spot because it was right down the road from a wedding we were going to. Peter had another wedding at the Woolshed but he set us up in our own private paddock, with easy access in and out of Garanvale. He was really lovely, and helpful in directions and set up, and even let us arrive early so we could get ready for the wedding.
Great place to stay close to Braidwood!

Peter's property was close to Braidwood with easy access. The setting is picturesque with a pleasing aspect. The property is set back from the road, and has the rustic woodshed, interesting, old farm machinery and a nice lake with mature willows.
Peter was a great host and a pleasure to deal with.

We loved our stay! Beautiful property - very well kept. We are at the restaurant on our last night. The pasta was incredible. Kelly was an amazing host at the Garavale Woolshed Braidwood. Loved our stay. Highly recommended

Our weekend was meant to be spent at a different campsite, but the roads were closed and thanks to Peter we were still able to camp! It’s such a lovely farm and great campsite! There is also a restaurant on the farm and the burgers there are delicious! Much thanks to Peter for saving our weekend!

We loved our stay at Garanvale Woolshed, it was so peaceful and quiet. Our hosts were lovely and friendly, they even brought us fresh muffins on our first morning. The lake was beautiful and filled with wildlife, the cows and other animals were a delight too. If you are visiting from Thursday there is even a restaurant in the old woodshed!! Historic Braidwood is so close and don’t forget to visit the old water wheel just outside Braidwood, beautiful walk!! Highly recommend Peter and Jades Garanvale Woolshed.
