Had a great time staying here. We arrived late around 8pm and Wayne came out to help escort us into a spot as it was dark which we really appreciated. Lots of room and perfect location just off the highway.

Lovely area to stay with great views and a positive vibe. Easily accessible & safe. Has a hot shower, 2 toilets and a washing machine ironically situated inside a cylindrical grain silo. Wayne, his family/friends & workers are very accommodating, friendly and nice to have a chat to. Delicious take away shop and fuel station in close proximity. Highly recommend!!! A+ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Stayed at Doraville and couldn’t be happier. Easy access, level ground, and plenty of space to set up. The property is peaceful and private, with country views and a really calm atmosphere. The host was fantastic, friendly, responsive, and made everything super straightforward. Highly recommend for anyone travelling through.

Great spot for overnight when travelling. Easy to get off and back on the freeway plus a service station as you drive out to fill up. A quiet spot. Amenities are adequate but don’t expect luxury. Thanks Wayne, a good stopover.

First impression of the site was not great on arrival. Site was unmowed, two dogs chained up to trees and the sites are on the road across from a truck stop. The place grew on us after relaxing and watching the sunset over the gorgeous hills though. The hosts are nice but we don't appreciate diving straight into politics chat as soon as we meet.

Hot shower was great and we loved it was located inside a silo. Toilets also located in silo, just need a good clean.
The paddock where camping is located is mostly level, therefore good for parking a van or caravan, camper etc. Its has nice views over several very large fig trees and overlooking paddocks with cattle.
Location is near not far from highway so you can hear the hum of traffic at camp site. However, there are so many birds here so you can also hear bird calls as well.
20mins from Moorland are amazing dog friendly beach at Crowdy Beach which is world class. Harrington is also a cute town with lots explore.
We would be happy to come and stay again given its close location to such amazing nature.

Really great overnight spot if you’re traveling along the main highway - quick and easy to get to without adding much time to your drive. Wayne was very welcoming and accommodating.

Doraville was a good place to camp up for the night, close to the highway but not on the main road. There were trucks parked opposite, just something to note. The shower and toilet were in a silo which was an unusual setup, definitely not luxury, but proper farm living. We arrived after dark and Wayne wasn’t home but responded immediately to let us know where to go and was very friendly. Would recommend 😁

Doraville was a good spot to spend the night. Conveniently placed off the highway. We accidentally arrived after dark, and Wayne wasn't home, but he rang me back promptly on arrival and helpfully explained where to go and how to find our way about. Our kids loved the enormous fig tree - that thing is an adventure playground all by itself - and the friendly dogs!

Beautiful property. I managed to get bogged in my van because of the heavy rain and Wayne pulled me out no problem with his tractor. Super friendly, would come back here again!

Camped with my 2 kids for a quick overnight to break up the drive. Amazing host! Great that there was a toilet! Even with all the rain Wayne ensured to check the ground prior to arrival so I had the best spot and wouldn’t get caught in the mud. We will be staying again on the drive home for sure

I was travelling during very wet weather and Wayne went above and beyond to find a spot for my tent that is 2WD accessible on his property. His directions were spot on and I was able to easily find the site even after dark. He checked in on me and I found him very helpful.

Our second time staying here, such a great campsite conveniently near the highway, on a peaceful and serene property. Hot showers and clean toilets. Plenty of space and kind hosts. Can’t ask for much more!

Wayne was very friendly and very accommodating. He was offering all kinds of assistance which I didn't need but found it very nice of him to offer. It had been raining for days and was a bit wet, so he offered an alternative to the usual camp area. He could not have been more helpful. His brother was very friendly but maybe shouldn't talk politics, especially American politics. I can turn a deaf ear to that, but the thing I really struggled with were the chained up dogs. I find that quite upsetting. I understand they might go on the road, but maybe fences would be a kinder alternative. It may not bother others but that's a hard no for me. Sorry Wayne, otherwise it's a great spot for an overnight stay.
