Great place to stay. Camp area was very well manintained with enough space between campers to allow plenty of privacy. Easy to find and easy access in with excellent communication from the host. Good spot to kayak from however the river was pretty low at the time making the walk down to the water a little longer than expected. Suggest if you have a heavy kayak like me to make sure you have a kayak trolley.

Nice view over the river. Sites well maintained and Allan on hand to answer any questions. Facilities basic but satisfactory if needed. Good fire pits all around.

Nice spot to camp with the kids as there is nice grass and shade near the trees. Great amenities too. The host Alan was very helpful showing us around when we arrived.

Allan made us feel at home and shared his family history in the local area. Camping, showers and loos were all super clean. What a great part of the hunter.

We had a very pleasant stay at there. The lawn is flat and well maintained. All the essential facilities are in good condition. The host Allan he is very friendly, he show us around and make sure we know everything about here. Would visit again and highly recommended to others.

Allan was the perfect host, camped with a group and had all the facilities and space we needed. The camp kitchen is the perfect size for a group if needed.
Will be back, absolutely stunning views and nice and flat with lots of room.

Lovely spot on the river. Big peaceful open space. Plenty of room for a group. Allan was a great host. Greeted us and showed us around. Flat spots to camp. 3 porta loos and 1 shower. Undercover area to share if raining. 6 min drive to Branxton.

We had a wonderful stay thanks to Allan and his wife’s friendly and welcoming attitude. The spacious, scenic spot by the river was perfect for relaxing walks and unwinding around the campfire with a glass of red wine. The peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty made it a truly memorable getaway.

Had a great time. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. Lovely flat ground. Nice access to the river. Although too cold for a swim. Fire pits provided. Allan was helpful and checked to make sure everything was ok. Easy access just over the Elderslie bridge.

Allan has a fantastic set up at his camp. Very well maintained amenities and grounds. Well made fire pits at each of the well mown sites. There is a fantastic sheltered area with a solid fuel heater , communal fridge etc. We were grateful of this space as it was a windy evening and sitting by the wood heater out of the wind was a real bonus. Allan is a very personable chap , who was happy to share his knowledge of the area , but also took an interest in hearing about our lives and adventures. The only downside of our stay was , a group of self entitled caravaners set up in the camp, that played loud music and partied until 2.15 am. Which took away the serenity that we were hoping for.

Absolutely awesome vibe. If you are chasing a good sunrise and sunset then this if the spot for you. Hot shower and toilets, all the basic shared kitchen amenities that you will need.
Flowing river. Immaculately maintained. Plenty of room for the kids. Cattle to see. Skydivers overhead. Fire pits ready for your camp oven. What else do you need!!!

Lucky us — we were the only ones at the campground! Mr. Allan was so kind and gave us a very warm welcome. He taught us several camping techniques, such as how to identify firewood that’s easier to light. The facilities were more than enough for our needs. We had a great night and will definitely visit again.
