Had a lovely visit with our kids over Easter. Great spot with lovely river and green grass area. We had 3 different sites and although there were at least another 7 sites staying it was still peaceful.

Lovely little creek if you can camp close to it. We got a lovely spot right under the trees. The space was quite hilly and open with little shade if that’s something you need.

Beautiful spot! Nice and secluded with plenty of room. Perfect for a stop over or a place to set up and explore the surrounding area. 15 minutes from Sawtell surf beach as well which was awesome.

Beautiful grass area for camping next to a creek. Amazing mountain view in the background. Wish the water was a bit more clear for a dip but probably due to rainfall a couple of days prior to our arrival

Camp site is in a quiet nice location.
Grass was a bit long.
Should probably mention in the Hipcamp description that anything over 5 tonne has to go down a steep causeway, as many people with a standard caravan would probably struggle to get through.

Great place to camp. Located next to national parks. Close by to great mountain bike trails. Lots of nature around, birds, fish to watch in the creeks on the property. Highly recommend.
We also camped when 200mm of rain fell in three hours. The low areas had pooling of water but most of camp area dry. No issues in getting car out of the property after the rain. Everything back to normal after a few hours after the rain stopped.

Bonville beauty!

We took our 22ft triple bunk van to stay on this property for one night. Beautiful quiet picturesque space. Kids loved exploring the creek while we set up and packed up. Plenty of space to kick a ball around! We used the small creek crossing access as we were over the 5 tonne bridge limit. Would recommend an off road van with high clearance as its quite steep! Porta-loo on site is clean with plenty of toilet paper, soap and hand sanitiser provided. Lovely spot, highly recommend!

Stayed for four nights from the 7th to 11th April. While our stay was OK compared to our last Xmas NY visit, the stay feel for this one was a bit Big4 caravan park.
The site we had was absolute creek front and gorgeous as was our last trip but we feel the owners were cashing in this time.

I’d suggest if you were over 5 tonne that you need an outback caravan to get through the causeway though.

The location was fantastic - hard to beat a spot where there is a couple of pristine fresh water creeks running right through the middle. Hosts were easy to deal with and the entry to the property was easy to find. Privacy and the surrounding area with trees was great as well. However, as detailed in the description and previous reviews the facilities are limited e.g. one port-a-loo and one picnic table. Could do with more tables and another loo closer to the opposite end of the road. Also, aim to get in early if it’s a long weekend to get the good spots nestled right next to the creek - there’s only a few of them. Apart from that I would definitely stay there again. Thanks for having us!

The camping area was beautiful. It was exactly where the host described and everyone had enough space between campsites so it wasn’t squishy. Listening to the running water of the creek made it all so relaxing and Emma was lovely. Will definitely be going back.

The moment we arrived, we looked at each other and said "we'll be back". What a STUNNING spot - away from the crowds but close enough to shops / beach / river. The cows, the kookaburra's and the stars. Just beautiful. Emma and Luke were super too - quick to respond, friendly, informative and accommodating. 100% recommend.
