You will come here to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of `Black Mountain'. `Black Mountain’ is on Gumbainggir country. It is a registered conservation property bordering Nymboida River and Nymboi-Binderay National Park. Alastair and I have shared the property for more than 25 years and consider ourselves custodians of this precious place. Visitors enjoy: the pristine river; walking tracks through diverse terrain; starry night skies and campfires. Previous guests recommend staying at least two nights to soak up the atmosphere and explore the area. Choose from the 'Ant Shack' or four adjacent campsites with easy access and views to the Nymboida River. Shared facilities include a hot shower and composting toilets. You can walk, swim and kayak, explore the area or just relax for days. We can’t accommodate domestic animals or allow fishing, not even catch and release, because we protect our wildlife and the endangered Eastern Cod. Black Mountain is remote but just 60 kilometres from Grafton or Coffs (via back way). 2WD access to our house is from Nymboida only. 4WD/AWD from Lowanna or Glenreagh and 4WD/AWD down to the river/campsite area - Not suitable for caravans. All proceeds from Airbnb and Hipcamp are invested in the continuing conservation of Black Mountain.

Clearly a professional park, but great to stay at all the same. It is next to “Back Creek” which is a much smaller and nicer setting than the Macleay River (just north) in our opinion. We stayed during a wet period and the site drained fairly well, although we did need to buy some sand pegs for our awning and annex tent. Park is well maintained. Staff were friendly and professional. We had to make an after hours call with a boom gate issue and caretaker was immediately available on phone and super helpful. The little waterslide at the pool provided a lot of amusement to our teenage children lol. Ensuite had lovely hot shower. Read other reviews re theft and yes, can see the potential for that as the park is basically open to the creek frontage and the public boat ramp car park. We were careful to lock our belongings and had no issues. Hot tip - recommend going to the Macleay River District Fisherman’s Co-op (on the road into town) in the mornings for super-fresh seafood.

great spot weather was not the best and recent floods had left the property a bit smashed. Sammy was a great bloke and we had a good chat with him and don't forget to meet Banjo Sammy's dog he is a beautiful fella and turned up to play with out pups a few times and yes I did teach him to lick clean our plates, sorry Sammy.

Absolutely loved this spot. Far enough off the highway to feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to grab supplies from the local shops at Woolgoolga. Ben and Kylie were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The amenities were spotless and it was so nice to have access to a toilet and hot shower. Topped it off by getting to watch Ben and Kylie work their horses. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back again.

Merryl and Alister were amazing hosts, helping us carry our camping gear down to our site (as I was in my little car)! Amenities were also perfect - it’s not often you get a hot shower when camping! My partner and I loved camping at Reltuc Springs! The property is absolutely beautiful. Ben was incredibly helpful offering us a fire pit and wood so we could have a camp fire. Beautiful location with a picturesque flowing creek accessible from within the campsite area. We enjoyed 5 nights with two families and two family sized caravans and still had plenty of room to enjoy. Even with a visit from some overnight campers we didn’t feel imposed upon. We will definitely booking in another stay when time allows.
