For Couples or Singles Discover the beauty of the natural environment in this very private 1 bedroom cabin on the edge of the forest. A unique destination for mindful travelers looking to connect with the surrounding wilderness, and rekindle their relationship with nature. Enjoy the marked hiking trails surrounded by 470 hectares of the largest nature reserve in Ontario. The comfortably furnished cabin features a small kitchen equipped with dishes and cooking utensils, living room area, and generous main floor bedroom. As we are off-grid, heat is provided by a cozy woodstove, and the bathroom is an outhouse located a short distance away from the cabin. Enjoy the small deck for outdoor seating and fire pit. Firewood is on hand. Guests should bring their own bedding, indoor shoes & a cooler for perishables Potable water is provided in 5 gallon jugs. Parking is a very short walk from the cabin and a wagon is provided to carry belongings to and from. As the cabin is located in the forest, summer guests are encouraged to bring mosquito repellant.

Melanie & Ryan were fantastic hosts! They were kind, helpful, and incredibly responsive. The place is beautiful, and the lights make it magical and easy to navigate around at night. The yurt was gorgeous. My friend and I visited at the end of October, so it got very cold at night. However, the mattress heating pad worked wonders, and Melanie was incredibly kind to offer us additional bedding. Thank you for a great glamping experience!

Beautiful cabin. Cozy, warm, fun games and amazing scenery. Waking to the lake view down the path is a must! My now fiancé proposed during our stay and it was such a beautiful place to do so. Highly recommend! Ann and her husband were great hosts.

My wife and I went there to stay the weekend, we loved that and we are definitely going there again! Angela and Arnold are awesome hosts! We felt super welcomed to their place. The place is lovely and seems that it has come out straight from a storybook, the birds that come at our hands, super relaxing and intimate. They have a nice bbq, the space is well organized and clean, and have everything that we needed to just relax without worries. If you are wondering if you should go there’s or not, take my word, you are gonna love it, please go. To Angela and Arnold, thank you so much for the great conversations and laughter, we felt like we’ve known each other for a while!

Such a lovely place to relax and get cozy! The A-Frame is super comfortable and cute, outhouse was clean, shower with heated water was amazing, and hot tub/sauna was definitely a plus! We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for an opportunity to connect with nature. Wish we had more time there! Ann and Brian are also lovely hosts.

Wow! We came in mid October to see the autumn colors. What a great experience! First off the hosts are amazing and very helpful. The lodge itself is very comfy, the bed is super clean and comfy as well. There's enough firewood for the whole stay (2 Nights). Oh and our dog loved it as well! The place is around 20 min drive away from any nature hike, and there are plenty in the area. Highly reccomend

When I arrived, I like the fact that the host was very informative. She gave us a tour of the location and a relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed the cabin. It was really very pretty. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the atmosphere. I would recommend it. Definitely a great place to go away from the city.

The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway, it's beautifully designed and maintained and is tucked away in the woods which gives you your privacy and lots of trails to explore. I went in early October so got to see beautiful fall colors. Yvonne and Glenn were wonderful hosts, very friendly and lovely people. I'd definitely recommend this place.
