We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce. Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. Alternatively, at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire. Weekend Trip to Dougy's Den

After searching for a quiet spot away from other people for us and the dogs, hubby and I found the absolute perfect spot for a chill getaway. Extremely private with the just sounds of nature to calm the soul. Only a short walk to the dam for the dogs to have a good swim too. We loved it. Graeme was the perfect host and even brought us the paper in the morning. Thank you for letting us stay, you might just see us again xx

Loved the spot! Very quiet with plenty of birds and water for a dip. Would recommend!

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.

Another great stay! Peaceful camping near the river with awesome bird life - saw Rainbow Bee Eaters, Blue Wrens, red tail black cockatoos and kookaburra daily while sitting back and relaxing. Shane is a great host and will be back again!

I really enjoyed the Changi site. Wide open space for both privacy but also close enough to have a group between if a gathering. Was just two of us at the time, was very quiet. Sheep roaming non invasively and saw a few kangaroos hopped by. Will definitely return. Thank you!

Love the peace at 100 Acrewoods, our third visit, first one we have done in December, like every where, there were lots of flies and the March flies were nasty, so just make sure to be prepared, We had plenty of room for 2 caravans and vehicles at Opera 1.

A great location to just relax and recharge. The birdlife was amazing, so many varieties came by the campsite to say hello. We stayed in campsite 1. The river was just below. It was a lovely few days.

Great spot, plenty of shady tree cover and a large sized site situated next to a swimming dam. Nice campfire and not too far from toilets and shower. The hot showers under the stars were great to have. Owners seemed to take pride in the place and what they're offering. We would go back again for the peace and quiet and the option to cool down with a dam swim or warm up with a shower. Thank you to the hosts, we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights and so did our doggo. :)

Weekend Trip to Herron Point Farm Stay

We stayed on lakeside camp 3. It is exactly as in the photo. We sat there with drinks both mornings to listen to the life on the lake. So many birds and a pair of Whistling kites living in one of the trees. Paul was a very friendly host. There are about a dozen free range chooks wandering about and they generally just hung out with us. We also wandered down to the wetland area to spot more birdlife. Was a lovely peaceful stay. The camp site is flat and large with a firepit provided during camp fire season. Would definitely recommend.

Dougys den is a beautiful retreat tucked away in an idyllic part of the world. The little creek that runs all year round is full of life such as little frogs and butterflies, the sunlight peaks through the canopy top gracefully in the morning providing a great retreat with no other humans enjoying bliss quietness. The location is brilliant, no more than 400m from the dam wall, there’s a toilet facility, running tap With non potable water and a rustic shelter, complete with a fire pit and table and chairs, overall a beautiful retreat :)

Ok so this site is the best we have ever been too. Total seculsion. We stayed up late and made noise but didn't disturb anyone. As much as I would love to keep it a secret everyone should try this place.
