Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

A wonderful meadow woodlands with lots of open space here for 4WD & RVs. Ideal for few families getting together to camp.  There are a few sites for campers. So choose your spot when you arrive. Plenty of space. Access road is down a gravel hill slope. Can allow off-road caravans up to 25ft/2t towed by 4WD vehicle.  Views are great from here as well. We are still on the hill, hence you require a chock leveller for your RV.  Fires are not permitted in the summer months. Firewood is free to collect around the camp, however, please do not cut down any trees.  As there are 3 groups on this site, please respect other campers and keep noise down at night and early morning. Do not have generators or drones during this time. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers MUST be completely self-contained. Bring your own portaloo.  Dogs welcome (on leash).

A beautiful spot along the paths with stunning views. Sunsets are spectacular. The parking site has a small, levelled patch. Otherwise, the site is quite small as it is mostly sloppy. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting…  Access road is down a gravel hill slope. Can allow off-road caravans up to 25ft/2t towed by 4WD vehicle. Some parts may still be hilly though, and you need chock leveller for your vehicle.  Great place to roast marshmallows around a campfire. Fires are not permitted in the summer months. place to stay with great views, directions are clear, supported by signs on the property and communication from Bea was spot on! Close to Dwellingup as we did our day trips there! Couple of other campers on the property (as expected) however located far apart, only notice them when we drive drove in and out of the property, once at our spot, felt like we had the place to our selves, could not hear or see other campers… Kids loved the out doors, (barring the marsh flies during the day, that time of the season) some roo’s chilling outside the caravan in the mornings, great bird life, and a couple of night critters (wolf spiders) on our little night walk around our caravan. Very welcomed change from the caravan park life! We will definitely return in the winter so we can have camp fires!

Great spot for a getaway close to Perth while feeling miles away. Lots of march flies at this time of year so make sure you’re prepared with insect repellent! As others have said there isn’t much level ground, we had two big caravans and only really one decent flat spot for a larger van- the site would better suit one large van or 2-3 smaller setups. Fantastic Telstra reception at this site, if you don’t want to/can’t be completely disconnected.

Nice and quiet, other sites don't intrude on the Tampines site and a great view as well. Easy drive into Mandurah 25kms.

Changi Campsite is big and spacious. It is sub divided into 3 separate areas, all of which are very roomy. Bea and her husband came around to say hello and are always welcoming. We’ve been back for a few visits now and will continue to do so in future

Great spot, went during the Australia Day weekend, but you didn’t had the feeling it was packed. Direction provided were spot on and hosts were great. The only negative was the steep price for a spot for self contained vehicles. And garbage bag of cans was left behind of previous stayers.

I loved camping in this isolated site in the middle of nature! I felt completely immersed in the beautiful landscape and didn’t see anyone so it felt like wild camping. In the morning I also saw a group of Kangaroos skip by my site, which was magical! Would highly recommend it to any self sufficient camper who likes wild camping experience!

This was our 4th trip to opera 2 it is a fantastic location, great place to relax and be amongst the trees and nature. Where lucky enough to be treated to a wonderfull sunset on both nights. Can't wait to come back in winter.

Not a bad spot for a quick 2 night stay. Lots of tree coverage if needed, and you’re far enough away from other campers for a little seclusion. Would be great in winter to make use of their fire pits.

Wow! Didn't know what to expect when I arrived at 100 acre woods!! Opera 3 didn’t disappoint at all, the view and vista was superb, the site was quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from the city! Very romantic place for couples too! Will be back in winter when I can have a fire pit, toast marshmallows and sit around the fire with a glass of red. Thank you Bea for opening up your property for us to enjoy!

We loved this place. All the campsites are very private and quiet. On top of the mountains, woods, views, kangas, birds, even a shingle back lizard visited our camp. We extended our stay. Bea was great with communication and made it easy. We will be back.
