Everything Horses Ltd

4 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Henley Brook, WA
5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We look forward to welcoming you to Everything Horses ltd where you can enjoy one of the last pockets of peace left in the Swan Valley area. We are everythinghorsesltd on Facebook with current uploads to see more of the property and animals here. There is a red cone at the driveway to pull in to where you will be greeted, please leave any gates as you find them. We wish you happy travels campers

Summer Creek

18 sites · Lodging, Tents100 acres · Bakers Hill, WA
Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Come along to Karaoke at the Restaurant every Saturday night!!! Our camping set-up is a work in progress so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Also, stay tuned for our glamping option yet to come :) Currently Adults only, no children. If you book during the week (Monday to Thursday) please arrive before 7:30pm and make sure you give us a call to we know you are coming, we don't always check these messages. Thank you :)

Harmony Retreat

5 sites · RVs, Tents25 acres · Meelon, WA
STRICLY NO FIRES DUE TO LOCAL FIRES IN THE AREA AT PRESENT, WITH HOMES DESTROYED AND LIVES THREATEDNED. THERE IS A TOTAL FIRE BAN IN THE SHIRE OF MURAY, THEREFORE NO OPEN COOKING FLAMES ARE PERMITTED (EXCEPT INSIDE CARAVANS). IF WE FIND THAT THIS RULE IS IGNORED, YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO THE POLICE AND ASKED TO LEAVE. IT HAS BEEN A LONG HOT SUMMER. THE AREA IS VERY DRY AND HIGHLY FLAMABLE. Harmony Retreat is situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the scarp just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilets, hot outdoor showers, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens, a mischievous mini pig named Peppa (who loves pats), sheep, and family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There are hot water outdoor showers and toilets available to use. The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this site is not recommended for those with small children (I don't think our nervous systems could handle the worry either) and older children will need to be supervised. Friendly pets are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times due to livestock in neighbouring paddocks. There are no cooking facilities available for guests at present (this could change in the next couple of months as Troy is notorious for making stuff happen lol... so when it does we'll update the information). Therefore you will need to be completely self-sufficient including washing up bucket, cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire season/complete fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Wood is available for purchase on-site from April/May to October/November. Collecting firewood from the property or forest is not permitted. We also host various events such as drumming circles, retreats, and festivals throughout the year, as well as offering holistic healing sessions, private sound journey sessions and have a little shop selling journals, oracle cards, giftware, diaries, cacao, and handmade items which can be opened upon request.
