If you’re looking to unplug and truly escape, Rose’s Reserve is the place. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by our friendly hosts who made us feel instantly at home. Their warmth set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most peaceful stays we’ve ever had. There’s something truly magical about the atmosphere here — it’s so quiet and serene, it feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The property has every amenity you could need including a much appreciated solar-heated shower. There are a few small walking trails that are perfect for a gentle stroll, and we loved spotting all sorts of wildlife along the way. On a clear night, the sky turns into a planetarium. No city lights, no noise, just a blanket of stars stretching in every direction. Whether you’re looking to reset or just breathe for a while, Rose’s Reserve is a gem. We’ll definitely be back.

Last night we stayed at Jane and Marcs beautiful farm, the choice of site was stunning and gave an amazing view over the whole farm and land. All the animals were so friendly, Rudy the deer being the most friendly🫣🤗 and we got to have a tour of the whole place in the morning. Well worth the stay, not only for the camping spot but to hear and see about all the animals they've saved, help put towards their great efforts and just for an overall great time. Thank you again Jane and Marc, we will be back!

Perfect place to get away from the city, only an hour south-east of Perth. Beautiful sunsets surrounded by trees and paddock, definitely feels like a very exclusive and private space. We came here for our honeymoon so really appreciated the peaceful getaway. Alison and Rob were super responsive with any of our questions and ready with recommendations for food in Dwellingup.

We just had a fantastic stay along the creek for 3 nights. Our kids loved playing in the creek and interacting with the farm animals. The sites were very large and could easily fit a few families travelling as a group. I have already recommended Peaceful Valley farms to friends, and cannot wait to come back in the future!

As the name suggests, a very peaceful little valley setting for campers and vanners alike. Great facilities, clean and well laid out...and the sites a big. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice walk to a wide viewing area on a granite rock outcrop. We enjoyed our short stay, even with the weather against us in the swag. We'll be back with the van for a longer stay soon.

Natalie was so courteous with my stay. I camped solo in my car with my dog and she found me a spot with beautiful views away from most other campers. They had animal feeding before dark and the overall camp site was amazing! Shower and toilet block amazing too! Just all round amazing experience! 2 nights at Rose’s Reserve

My time at Rose's Reserve was awesome! It is a great private camping spot nestled in the midst of a grove of trees. I reckon there are a couple kms of twisty trails throughout the area around the campsite if you walk them all. The site is adjacent to a couple of paddocks and a horse farm. They exercise the horses every morning as the sun rises from the far side of the track. The site is rustic and has all you could need (BBQ, inside shower (hot water), outside shower (cold water), flushing toilet, bins for rubbish and recycling, picnic table, water hose hook up, and more). They even provide some towels and a snake bite kit! The site has lots of birds. There was a nice breeze as you walk around the bush. There is a mob of roos that are out at dusk in one of the paddocks as well. They even have a couple of nice log seats set up in the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Beautiful spot! Liz and Ross were brilliant hosts. Liz communicates with you on the app to set up the stay and checks in while you are there. Ross meets you at the house and guides you to the site. He was super friendly and helpful! All in all, 6 out of 5 stars I would say! Looking forward to another visit! Note: only 2 bars max of 4G in certain spots in the bush surrounding the campsite. But who needs bars when you are enjoying the beauty of nature?!

I felt very welcomed! It was truly peaceful looking out over the expansive property. I loved the random cows and sheep sounds. I was able to (tare in my city life)sleep peacefully. It was the first time I ever brought my old cat (on a lead of course) on a camping holiday and she seemed to love it. Best feature of all....... STARS!!! Billions of STARS!!!

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. Family friendly (not a daycare center) farm, located 40 minutes from Perth. We have a Brewery and Restaurant located onsite, ideally located between Toodyay , Northam and York. The ideal base for exploring the the Wheatbelt region. Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Come along to our Karaoke nights at the Restaurant. Our camping set-up is a work in progress, so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Children are welcome, but make sure you are prepared to look after them. This is not a place to let then go feral. This is a working farm and has all the dangers that go with that. Please appreciate our home, as we are opening it up for you to enjoy as much as we do. From plants, rocks and old equipment, you may not be aware of its significance, so please be respectful and dont damage our home. Harmony Retreat

Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens, a mischievous mini pig named Peppa (who loves pats), sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. Older children will need to be supervised. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times. There are no cooking facilities available for guests at present (this could change in the next couple of months as Troy is notorious for making stuff happen lol... so when it does we'll update the information). Therefore you will need to be completely self-sufficient including washing up bucket, cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). The property comes with its own composting toilet and hot outdoor shower, gas cooker and pot belly stove. Other things to note Moonbeams Yurt is situated at the bottom of a 1 acre property, on a large 48sqm decked area. The yurt is 20sqm in size and the composting toilet and shower are within 10 steps from the yurt entrance. The hot water shower is an outdoor shower with a privacy screen. There is NO power at all, but 1 battery powered light is available, and there is a basic gas cooker provided. There is no refrigeration. Parking is at the top of the property and guests will have to walk down a partially sealed path to arrive at the entrance to the yurt, so good mobility is needed. You will need to bring in refrigeration/Eski, lights and basic cooking camp ware. A wheelbarrow can be provided to get gear from car to yurt. A Double bed is provided. Optional extras are fresh bedding. The pot belly stove is great for the winter, and timber is provided for cold nights. We do not recommend booking during our hottest months, unless you love the heat. This property is great for backpackers or people wanting to see the sites of Perth and surrounds. The train line is close by for people who do not have a car. There are many walks and states forests in the area.

(Note: during restricted and prohibited burning seasons, allowance of campfire may be altered for safety reasons due to current bush fire ratings, weather conditions and/or at our discretion.) Set on 10 acres, 1km from the town centre of Dwellingup, sits our little farm. We offer a fabulous camping space (the Pleasant-Tree site) to just one group at a time, so it's very private and all yours! The Pleasant-Tree site homes our upcycled, rustic bush bathroom, for your exclusive use! Hot shower, composting toilet, fridge/freezer, tea and coffee facilities, bbq, utensils, cutlery and paper plates and bowls, pots, pans, coffee cups, etc. The site backs right onto the State Forest. You can pitch your tent or park your camper and share your paddock with our three pet sheep, goat and alpaca (or they can move out for the night if you prefer). There are also many regular visiting kangaroos. Enjoy the tranquillity of our forest and relax by your campfire as you are surrounded by nature and magnificent trees. A 10-minute stroll through the forest will take you into town to visit numerous cafes, gift shops, pub, etc.

Once logged for its timber in the 1960's by Wundowie Steel Foundry for it's steel mills and furnaces, there are still many tall/older trees as well as regrowth. We often have Kangaroos, Wallabies, occasional Echidnas, Goannas, Lizards and many species of Birds. All live in the wild and there is no guarantee that we will see them We grow wildflowers such as Proteas, Leucadendron , Leucospermum (pincushions),Banksias , Eucalypt - Silver Dollar, and Cut Flowers - Osteospermum, Zinnia and Gladioli, Kangaroo Paw and Bromeliads. We also have our native species - Grass Trees, Zamia Palm and Golden Wattle . We also have fruit trees, chooks and a vegetable garden. BUSH STAY ACCOMMODATION is available and we have Two cabins. The Music Room Cabin for two people, and the Olivia Cabin which will accommodate up to four people. Both have TV,DVD, aircon, fridge, toaster, kettle and cutlery, plates etc. We also have a large comfortable Tent to accommodate up to four people. Set up for the real bush experience. TV, DVD ,table and chairs .Beds and mattresses,sheets ,blankets, pillows, and doonas can be provided. You may bring your own tent,but only up to a mid sized four man tent.This is not an RV site. Hear all the sounds of the bush at night! Check out the stars planets and the moon. The sky is so clear out here. Caravans/Camper trailers are also welcome. One Powered site available. A toilet, shower and Barbeque facilities are available and our Fire Pit is ok to use in Winter and share some toasted Marshmallows. Local attractions include: Toodyay Emu Park, Archery Park, Avon Valley National Park and the Avon River, Paruna and Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuaries, Toodyay Townsite - Connors Mill,The Old Gaol and many other historical sites ,shops and restaurants. You can also visit the Swan Valley where there are many wineries ,pubs and restaurants.
