A working small hobby farm in its fledgling stages with friendly cows who love all sorts of food . Alpacas ,kangaroos,emus and lots of black cockatoos if lucky enough you can even find red tail cockatoo feathers around the place . We have a brook that flows 10 months of the year with ponds during summer . 3 kms from the town of nannup it’s close if you forget something but away enough you don’t need to see people if you choose not to . The property is boarded by native bush but is still accessible from the main road . Plenty of walking trails and native flowers in spring .

Peaceful Pastures is set over 9.3 acres. The back 5 acres has a watercourse running through which wild ducks frequent. The front 4 acres has a shed in the centre and 3 caravan campsites. We welcome quiet and considerate campers, who are self-contained with their own facilities. A self-contained fire pit is provided at each of the 3 campsites, for use outside the state fire ban that extends from Nov 1st to May 10th. Firewood may be available, but bringing your own is recommended. There is a small water tank, with rainwater available at the tap. This is to be used minimally at times of no rain and not to be used for car or van washing. There are a number of wild kangaroos and emus in the area, which can often be seen when driving along the road. The property is located 2.2 km off the South-Western Highway along a quiet, sealed road. Close by is the Kirup Tavern which has well-priced meals, pool tables and dartboards. It's a 15-minute drive from Donnybrook, with shops, restaurants, weekend markets and the Apple Fun Park, and 11 minutes from the tourist town of Balingup. Guests are welcome to use the trampoline, but children must be supervised, as there is no safety enclosure fitted.

Both bedrooms also have views, with the larger room containing a queen bed and the smaller room containing a bunk bed with trundle (1x double & 2 x single). Seaview Manor also has a large garage and additional car parking.

The name of this hipcamp really says it all! Such a peaceful place to stay! We had such a fantastic stay at Peaceful pastures! We visited with our 21.6" Van and the sites are huge, flat and easy to park. Great base for surrounding towns, we took a trip into Donnybrook for the kids to play at the Apple fun park and wish we had of stayed more than one night as we passed lots of great wineries and fruit stalls.

Really good camp just outside Nannup. Peaceful with great inquisitive alpacas to amuse you. A place to just sit and enjoy the view.

Moo cows were moved after we arrived, but they are beautiful and will be back in a few weeks we were told

We loved the location, only 2km from town, the bird life was incredible including the emus roaming nearby and the resident Alpacas who were forever curious of what we were up to. We only had 3 nights but left so relaxed as if we had a week at your farm, thank you for your welcoming hospitality 🙏😊👍

It is a great glamping site. Clean, spacious, full equipped, close to town centre, and walking distance to the beach. The only unpleasant experience was checking in at the reception. The lady rejected to check in for us in the beginning because the booking name is not my official name on my ID. She asked me to change my Hipcamp account name where I made the booking when I asked her for solution. I told her I couldn’t do that and she said she couldn’t check us in then. Until my 8 years old son became frustrated and out of control as he thought we couldn’t check in, the lady suddenly changed her attitude. She checked my ID and the registration form (which contains my full name, ID number, car plate number, all guests’ full name) I filled before I came and finally checked us in. So what was the point to change my Hipcamp account name?!

Lovely peaceful spot to camp, skies were beautiful and David was a pleasure to deal with and gave great instructions. It was a very wet weekend and ground got a bit soggy but the rain levels were well above normal for that time of year. Perfect place for staying for the Balingup Medieval Carnivale, close enough yet peaceful and Kirup pub was great for a dinner.

Great camp. Spaced out camp areas. Fire pits for each area and nice surroundings to investigate. Very close to Kirrup, and far enough off the main road that you don't hear any traffic. Also easy enough to get into with large vans.

We had a great camp out in Ged's paddock. A nice, scenic spot, we had the area to ourselves, except for the company of Bertie and Freya, the cute but shy alpacas next door. We also enjoyed getting some visits from the friendly cows in the next paddock! If you are self-sufficient, it's a great spot to stay next to town.

Great little site for fully self contained vehicles. Ged is a great host and you have friendly cows that come to the fence to say hello and also very shy alpacas. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you in as it’s a dirt slip road and it may be difficult to find a level site if there are a few vans in. No facilities (as per the Hip Camp description) but an inexpensive base to explore the area. Thank you Ged.
