Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet, and out doors bath. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood. No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving. Aireys inlet is a unique tiny town with so much to do. The local beach is iconic for surfing and swimming, the local creek is a favourite at the inlet for young kids to swim or for canoeists to have somewhere quiet to paddle. Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door. If you have your own horse you can bring it along on holiday with you, we have paddocks available and there are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item! The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, or just laze on the beach, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land. The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne. No need to stress if you don’t want to be near anyone else, this is a small setting so it’s very private and its only got one space to rent so that you have peace and quiet. If you do have friends and want to book a double space please just message me and I can open up another space for you. I also have an option to add a pottery class for you, the cost is $50 a person for a two hour session. Look forward to seeing you at our cosy country and coastal retreat.

There is Barwon Park Mansion, owned by the National Trust nearby that you can take a peek through or enjoy the river walks in the town center, less than 2km away. Shops, including a supermarket, are in town if you forgot something. There are also some collectable shops you can visit. If you are trying to book and have difficulties, try instant booking. Secluded, private, and surrounded by nature, our glamping tents for couples on the Mornington Peninsula are fully powered, cosy, and, most of all, private. Explore the Peninsula or simply take time out amongst the trees and open space. Ukiyo Nature Retreat is for over 18s only. Designed with couples in mind, Ukiyo offers tranquil surroundings immersed in nature, with majestic Moonah trees and plenty of space to escape from the stresses of life and reconnect. We have a maximum of four tents, each with its own private surroundings and hidden areas for couples to enjoy. Ukiyo is your private escape into nature. Located in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula, our retreat sits between the back beaches and the bay, near the famous Hawkes Farm and St Andrews Brewery (both approximately a 20-minute walk away), and a short drive to renowned walking trails like Bushrangers Bay. Local wineries are also close by, with the nearest just a 5-minute drive away. The world-famous Peninsula Hot Springs is also just a short drive from the retreat. We have one safari tent with a deck situated in a valley, surrounded by Moonahs, Coastal Banksias, and She-oaks, and a large Bell tent located slightly higher up, offering treetop views. Both tents feature a queen-size bed and are furnished with all the comforts you could need. Both options are fully powered. Designed with comfort in mind, you’ll find a cosy coonara and plenty of blankets in our common room at the back of the retreat, along with games, a fridge, and basic amenities. While there is no full cooking on-site, tea and coffee-making facilities and a small kitchen are available.

My girlfriend and I were here to celebrate our anniversary and we wouldn’t have had it a different way! The area was well secluded with a top notch glamping tent. We were able to explore the area with everything being pretty well within 10 minutes of the camper, it made life even easier. I highly recommend this glamper and property!

This glamping tent was out of a fairy tale!! Such a great option if you want to camp but don’t have all the equipment or are just going for a few nights! The facilities are so great and you could really just relax in the sun here forever! Or in front of one of the many fireplaces or fire pits! The hosts were so great giving us a tour when we arrived and making it clear that if we needed anything they were there to help! Couldn’t recommend enough :)

We had such a special glamping stay at Rumah and left feeling so relaxed and grateful. Geoff and Amanda were incredibly kind and welcoming and you can really feel the care they’ve put into every part of the property. Everything was so thoughtfully set up and made our stay feel easy and comfortable. The outdoor shower and bath was a real highlight. Sitting under the stars at night was just beautiful and something we will always remember! It truly is such a peaceful, memorable place. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend! The peace with nature all around was lovely. Caroline set up a fire for us. The Jayco swan was super cosy. A few mosquitoes visited so recommend bug repellent. We slept very well. Would definitely recommend. So close to the ocean you can hear the waves but feel so immersed in the bush.

Weekend Trip to Seahorse stud

A very lovely and recharging Easter weekend away in the caravan. It was a lovely quiet location, with a short picturesque walk into town. The van had everything we needed to be comfortable for a few days (kitchen and cooking utensils, kettle and working power) and we thoroughly enjoyed the pottery as an extra activity. Highly recommend staying here for a low stress weekend!
