One camp site (one group only). The site accepts 8 people but if you are just two people you will have the place to yourselves except for the kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas and birdlife. The campsite is situated next to our family's holiday farmhouse that we visit sometimes, but only when there are no guest campers. There is a fire pit with grill plates available to cook over the fire (note open fires cannot occur when fire restrictions are in place). Campers have access to the flush toilet, hot shower and kitchen in the house. The house is a work in progress. We are slowly renovating the house, so it is a bit rough but it is clean and functional and you will have the place to yourselves. Please respect the locked private areas of the house. Campers are expected to bring their own cooking pots, plates, cutlery, camp chairs, etc. Only 4 km from Moyston where you can get great coffee and visit the historic Mine Walk. Halls Gap is 35km away or head through the mountains over Redmans Road that takes you the scenic route to Halls Gap (2WD accessible in dry weather). Kalymna Falls and picnic ground is a beautiful 15 min bush drive from the farm. For those who love there prospecting Illawarra is only around the corner and deep lead is up the road! within 20km you’ll find yourself at one of the wonders of the world in the Grampians with its spectacular views , magnificent waterfalls and famous food and wine.

What a gem of a spot! Thanks for opening this space up for those wandering in the Wimmera, Paul & Keren, you're very kind. It's a privilege to be able to pitch our tent at your neck of the woods (love the name Yarriambiance too!). We were breathtaken pretty much the entire time camping underneath some very happy old trees visited by many birds and bees throughout the day, and feeling very comforted by the care you've put into the camping spot. Again, it was such a privilege, thank you! Wishing you and your friends well and safe this summer season & all the campaigning ahead xx We'll be looking forward to spending time at Yarriambiance again!

We camped there before Christmas and it was a peaceful spot with a stunning mountain view all to ourselves. The toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained. We even spotted wild kangaroos, rabbits and wallabies! Jillian and Phill were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Ideal basecamp position for both northern and southern Grampians access. We have a camper trailer and the campsites are relatively flat with no bumps and saw no ants. Absolute bonus on a Hipcamp site to have access to hot water for showers and a toilet.

Attended at a quiet early week time, so many camps to choose from, they all had a fire pit, a rake for ashes, n tons of room. So peaceful and heaps of wildlife, kangaroos can come up right near your van. Heaps of birds incl emus. With the closed gate at entrance felt very secure, even leaving stuff out on day trips. Hosts are very nice people, recommend this stay, we will be back..

The photos give a real good indication of what the site is like. Easy and clear directions and really lovely area. Plenty of space. We all had an incredible time. Some flies but not the bitey kind but good with bring fly nets / hats. The camels were a fun daily visit and the misting system on hot days was perfect. Perfect for the small to medium group when wanting a little extra luxury. Even though I switch off when camping there was still mobile phone coverage if you needed it.

We loved our stay at Old Man Grampians. We had our own site away from other vans and it was lovely looking out to the Grampians. You will wake up to Emus, Kangaroos, Deer and the birds. Would definitely recommend if your planning a visit to the Grampians.
