Sues property was absolutely incredible! We will 110% be back to camp there! Everything was well maintained, it felt like camping in the middle of no where with a touch of luxury, but only a stones throw away from the pub. Great fire pit, cabin/hut to use with table and chairs, pots and pans and other bits and bobs. Picnic table and sink was great and used a lot! And the toilet was great! Easy to use and far enough away to not feel too close to camp, but not too far to get too. Fire pit next to the lake was serene, the birds and wildlife came to life after 5pm. Sue was so lovely, brought us some firewood and made sure we had everything we needed and was very communicative. Absolutely loved it!

We had an amazing time camping at Susan and Chris’s beautiful property! Our group of 8, most of whom were first time campers, absolutely loved the experience. Susan and Chris were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, which made it even more enjoyable. The facilities and amenities were excellent and made everything so comfortable. The whole setup was perfect for both seasoned campers and beginners. We’d definitely pitch our tents here again. Highly recommend this spot especially for anyone new to camping!

Weekend Trip to Nerrigundah contrée sauvage

Private site, no intrusion, welcoming host, all added to our experience which we thoroughly enjoyed. Flushing toilets a short stroll away were a bonus. The kids had fun running around and we even got on the boat and kayaks for a little while in the dam. The life jackets provided were very thoughtful, gave us peace of mind. Thank you Jana for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful campsite! The location is stunning, with easy access and very clean, well-maintained sites. Rob and his wife are truly special hosts friendly, welcoming, and full of great energy. Their dogs, Max and Mali, are absolutely adorable and added such a warm, homey touch to our stay. We felt right at home and are already looking forward to coming back soon

Review is for Under the Gum, which is one of many sites. Site was quiet and spacious (was also only booking when visited) with plenty of kindling firewood around the site perimeter. Require some leveling. If I was to stay again I'd book By the Creek or Kangaroo Run as they have shrubs around to act a wind break, as Under the Gum is very exposed in windy conditions. Under the gum offers plenty of room and stay hooked up if just looking for an overnight stay.

Weekend Trip to Luxury on Wheels - Mountain Views

We loved every minute of our stay at the Dreamseeker van! The attention to detail that Michelle and Ron have put into ensuring guests have a comfortable stay is much appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the heater allowed us to be super cosy on a chilly night. We picked a few lemons (my partner put his in his Coronas!) and said hello to the friendly cows next door. We would absolutely return to this piece of paradise, which can be enjoyed any season of the year! Thank you again!

Weekend Trip to Tonimbuk Farm

Upon arrival, we were met by Robert on a tractor who came to greet us with 3 friendly dogs in tow. There is a Welcome Sign with your names on it, therefore, directions are easy to see where you should be. There was even a campfire pit stocked up ready to go, along with a Starter Kit supplied. These things were a really lovely touch we thought. This spot is absolutely picturesque by the Dam and the pictures most definitely don't do it justice. It's a superb view to wake up to in the morning, sit by the sun in the day or by the campfire at night. After a chilly evening, we woke to a variety of birds singing in the morning, to the ducks frolicking in the water, even a platypus surfaced for a visit in front of the firepit to look at us. The whole experience was absolutely peaceful and relaxing. The Hosts are super friendly and go above and beyond what you'd normally see with Hosts, so that felt really special to us. We really look forward to returning with our two teens to go fishing in the Dam or to stay at the Creek Site to see how that one is. Thankyou Robert and Leanne. Bless!

Large barrel fire pit available to use. Plenty of space. Main road can be heard from site but not enough that it was loud or disturbed sleeping. Good place if you want somewhere convenient to set up for a night.

Walking distance to Kinglake historic walk, Cookson Hill Track, Mt Everard Track, Bollygum Park. Visit Mason Falls Waterfall, 12-minute drive to Kinglake West. We have 2 dogs, 6 pet sheep and 4 lambs, 2 blue tongue lizards The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with the correct map and navigation equipment. Our walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. Taxi service - The Graceful-Goat to get you around to the local eats and wineries. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except December which is the Sunday before Christmas - twilight 2-7pm - No market in January. The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we have now entered our Fire Danger Period for the 2024/2025 Summer Season. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely on the day and we will advise as such. With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce. Walking the trials around Hanging Rock is a 10-minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min.
