(The dogs will get out of the way of cars so just drive ahead and the dogs will move out of your way they have big barks but they are friendly) PLEASE NOTE: If you have any issues with dogs let us know in ADVANCE and we can lock them in their yard for your stay. EVERYONE is told upon arrival to honk/toot your horn if you have any issues or need help and one of us will come and help if you let us know! Otherwise we leave people in peace to camp as they wish and where they want. The property has a big guest house that is currently empty, this is where the flushing toilet is for you to use whilst camping if you like. I loved the camping at Cherry tops, hosts were very nice and welcoming people. The camp site has some nice views. Toilet was very clean, there is fresh water to drink and refill your bottles, and there is a very nice hot shower available for a fee.

We had an amazing stay at this camp. The van sites were very spacious and the grounds were very well kept. The kids loved the little petting zoo! We would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back.

Great cleared camping spot with a fire pit by the river. Lovely produce we picked up when we arrived. Enjoyed spotting the resident platypus each evening.

Such a beautiful location, abby has thought about everything you need to be comfortable. Kitchen is managable for simple cook ups and the bath is fantastic. Be aware that the charging station is very limited for power. Also wasnt expecting such close neighbours. All in all would definitely recommend and would consider staying again!

Weekend Trip to Fairview Farm Ringarooma Tasmania

We failed to follow the directions properly and ended up at Pauline's house. Pauline was friendly and helpful. The track to the campsite is downhill and at times tricky with a 17'6'' caravan but easily navigatable however 20' plus vans may find it challenging. The campsite is by the river and has a fire ring which we used. There is a portaloo further along from the campsite which we did not visit. When camping it is best to drive into the site then easily reverse out when leaving. The only downside to the campsite was that the grass was not cut and the long grass impeded access around the van.

This weekend was a birthday present for my wife. She loved it at Valley’s Nest. Calm and peaceful with beautiful view. Very comfy bed, lovely fire that kept us warm. She had a long bath on Sunday taking in the view again. We also loved exploring Fingal and St Mary’s. Great meal that the St Mary’s pub and watched a platypus in the River running past the pub. Great weekend.

I stayed here for one night after spending the day in Launceston. It’s close to Launceston and set in beautiful surroundings. Good and clear communication from the host and clear instructions on how to find the site. Good size sites and clean quality toilets .I will definitely be staying here again in the near future

Very quiet and secluded, lovely set up and had everything for the perfect camping style. Bath however is designed for 1 person. As the heating is underneath the bath, it heats up too much. Just to keep in mind when booking your stay

We loved staying at Old Macs farm, we were able to drive in and find any site we chose. We were able to secure a nice area with walking tracks, ponds, water available for the caravan if needed. It was nice and quiet and will be using this place to camp at again for sure!

Super easy to find, amazing to find somewhere that accepts tents, no contact with host is helpful for pulling in late and leaving early. Mostly flat gravel area and grassy area, toilet itself clean but the sink is right below where bird's nest so was a bit dirty. Not a bother, we have hand sanitizer. Great spot between Cradle Mountain and Hobart ish direction of you're looking for something easy.

this site is incredible! i felt very safe staying here solo, and secluded enough that it felt very private. the site is well maintained, the views all around are spectacular, and Pauline looked after me with lots of firewood! i fell in love with Ringarooma as well. would be an incredible summer spot - i’ll definitely be back!
