*Some important notes before you book:
- Campers must have their own toilet and must remove all waste and rubbish. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all time.

There are wonderful fishing, swimming and kayaking options at Merseylea and Kimberley less than 10 minutes’ drive away.
You'll find many opportunities for hiking, with trails suitable for all ages and abilities. The closest dump point is a 9-minute drive to the “Town of Topiary” Railton, where you will find a charming coffee shop, a hotel, post office, a petrol station with a convenience store, a mechanic and a takeaway shop.
Railton boasts the delightful Goliath Park, with multiple recreational activities available including tennis and pickleball courts, a pump track, skate park, covered barbeque and picnic area and playground. It’s also where you’ll find a trail head for the World Class Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Network. Every Saturday morning, an idyllic bush setting hosts the Railton Park Run.

As well as camping, it is also available to rent for a variety of purposes; as the ultimate fishing retreat, for wedding, birthday and other significant life events, as a yoga, meditation and lifestyle retreat, or simply the ultimate holiday destination. *Some important notes before you book:
- Campers must have their own toilet and must remove all waste and rubbish. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all time.
- River water is available but drink at own risk.
- We recommend a strong vehicle, and a 4WD when towing caravans as the road in is steep.

You'll find many opportunities for hiking, with trails suitable for all ages and abilities. The closest dump point is a 9-minute drive to the “Town of Topiary” Railton, where you will find a charming coffee shop, a hotel, post office, a petrol station with a convenience store, a mechanic and a takeaway shop.
Railton boasts the delightful Goliath Park, with multiple recreational activities available including tennis and pickleball courts, a pump track, skate park, covered barbeque and picnic area and playground. It’s also where you’ll find a trail head for the World Class Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Network. Every Saturday morning, an idyllic bush setting hosts the Railton Park Run.

Wonderful spot super close to cradle mountain. Views over the lake were amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. Portaloos were the best kept I've ever seen! Smelled fresh, were super clean, and well stocked. Things like the outdoor sink, WiFi, and gas BBQs were a huge bonus and made staying the night v convenient for us. A lot of thought + effort has gone into making this simple site great!

Outstanding beauty, we enjoyed swimming with platypus and fish. Kayaking up and around the clear water. We didn’t spend much time out of the water in the four days we stayed. One night was cool enough to enjoy a campfire. We had no mozzies or stinging insects which amazed us. Jack Jumpers were about but left us alone. The quiet was delightful, we enjoyed the bird song and even mopoke (S.Boobook) owls calling at night. Plenty of wallaby bounding about. A calm and peaceful place to stay. We managed well getting our 17 foot caravan into the ClubMed site. We did snag on a hidden log very close to the narrow entrance, it would pay to walk the entrance before making the attempt, we did so on exit and had no issues. Our pup had her first experience of kayaking with us, she settled well on a long lead for swimming. There was no phone/internet reception, quite lovely really. We are so very grateful to Richard for sharing his amazing bit of paradise.

Everywhere had a lovely view of the dam, kayaks and canoe were provided to explore the water, lots of local fauna wandering about the place, and the toilets were cleaned regularly.
