Located opposite a cherry orchard close to supermarkets and food outlets, the property has land for off grid self contained camping and caravans. Unfortunately we do not have toilet facilities on the property. It's within 20 minutes of Hobart, within 2 km of Bonnorong wild life park and 1 km from motor racing circuit. Close to the picturesque town of Richmond a colonial town established in early 1800s. Dog friendly but must be controlled as we have many native animals such as galahs, native hens, ducks, rosella's, echidnas. We grow our own vegetables, have a vast array of fruit trees and variety of berries and free range eggs. Guest's must have their own toilet and shower facilities on board.

Finding us couldn't be easier , just turn right at the welcome to Franklin sign when driving from Huonville. Our gate has two big gum stumps as posts. Early arrival/ caravan drop off possible. please contact us to arrange With big views up the Huon Valley and over the river, this campsite will be sure to provide a great stay. The property is a 5 minute walk into the Historic town of Franklin, where there are are pubs and restaurants. We have 2 flat sites and 3 slight gradient sites, all are far apart. All sites accessible by 2wd depending on weather. There are no facilities, so the site is suitable for self contained campers only, There is dump for toilet water. The site also has drinking water water available free. Due to our children and our Alpaca on site pets must be kept on a leash. Visiting children are welcome to help our kids feed Alpaca, just ask. The property has an orchard of cherry plums, apples, pears, lemons and apricots. There are great walks and sites to see in the local area. It's possible to see Aurora from your campsite, but not guaranteed.

Arrive here using Sealink Bruny Island ferry. and take the Blinkbonny Rd Turn off traveling for approx 500m from the corner. The campsite is best suited to self-contained 4WD campers who must bring their own toilet/shower facilities, drinking water and supplies. Pets on leashes are welcome. Campfires are permitted in the dedicated firepit. Take a stroll down to the beach and have a swim in the turquoise coloured water at Little Taylor Bay, or explore the bush and look for spotted par-ado, swift parrot, sea and nesting pair of wedge tail eagles, hawks, plovers, honey eaters, wrens, herons, brone wing pigeons just to name some of the birds. We also have a few of the famous white kangaroos, plus lots of smaller wallabies. There are good trails for hikes and mountain biking at the Mount Midway Forest Reserve and Mount Bruny Forest Reserve. Don't miss out on the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tour - built in 1836, it's the only heritage listed lighthouse open for tours. Please stay within the property boundaries as shown, there is no access to Daniels Bay.

Located just a 20 minute drive from the Hobart CBD, this beautiful 0.67 hectare coastal bush property is set in a little valley right by Kingston Beach, Browns River and Tyndall Beach. It's just a short 5 minute stroll down the road to the beach, or up the road to the start of the Alum Cliffs Track. Activities you can enjoy here include birdwatching, bushwalking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing, bike riding, dog walking. You'll be staying in a fairly new comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom tucked under my house. There's a double bed made up with fresh linen. You'll enjoy hot showers, a flushing toilet and almost complete privacy. There's mains water. With prior notice, you could use the washing machine inside the house and hang your clothes on the clothes line strung between trees. Parking for two cars and/or caravan/campervan is easy. A circular driveway surrounds the house with a driveway extension. I hope to build an outside kitchen at the nearby shed, but for now campers need to be self-contained for their cooking and washing up, or else take the short walk to Kingston Beach and the excellent cafes and restaurants there. Food scraps need to go in a compost bin on site. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a fire when conditions allow it. Longer pieces of firewood are provided free of charge and kindling can easily be collected from around. (I'd rather you didn't use the shorter pieces of cut firewood as they are for my wood heater). You could enjoy a wood fired bush bath for a small charge, conditions allowing, with advance notice. Early evening is the best time to enjoy a bush bath and star gazing with set up in the afternoon. Wildlife is abundant and includes birds, wallabies, possums, echidnas and bandicoots. You are welcome to bring your small dog, but please ensure it's under control at all times. Wildlife are at risk if your dog is a hunter and roams free. Tyndall Beach (the Kingston dog beach) down the road is where your furry friends can have a run. Walk them to the beach on a lead and let them off there. I have an older Jack Russell who is afraid of big dogs, sorry. I think this is the perfect place to experience a little bush luxury before beginning or ending your Tassie adventures. I look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Please contact me if this area interests you.

This property features all the elements required for a camping adventure. Located on Bruny Island on an open paddock in a bush setting, you will have 60 acres to explore or relax in complete privacy. Arrive here using Sealink Bruny Island ferry. and take the Blinkbonny Rd Turn off traveling for approx 500m from the corner. The campsite is best suited to self-contained 4WD campers who must bring their own toilet/shower facilities, drinking water and supplies. Pets on leashes are welcome. Campfires are permitted in the dedicated firepit. Take a stroll down to the beach and have a swim in the turquoise coloured water at Little Taylor Bay, or explore the bush and look for spotted par-ado, swift parrot, sea and nesting pair of wedge tail eagles, hawks, plovers, honey eaters, wrens, herons, brone wing pigeons just to name some of the birds. We also have a few of the famous white kangaroos, plus lots of smaller wallabies. There are good trails for hikes and mountain biking at the Mount Midway Forest Reserve and Mount Bruny Forest Reserve. Don't miss out on the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tour - built in 1836, it's the only heritage listed lighthouse open for tours. Please stay within the property boundaries as shown, there is no access to Daniels Bay.

Located just a 20 minute drive from the Hobart CBD, this beautiful 0.67 hectare coastal bush property is set in a little valley right by Kingston Beach, Browns River and Tyndall Beach. It's just a short 5 minute stroll down the road to the beach, or up the road to the start of the Alum Cliffs Track. Activities you can enjoy here include birdwatching, bushwalking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing, bike riding, dog walking. You'll be staying in a fairly new comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom tucked under my house. There's a double bed made up with fresh linen. You'll enjoy hot showers, a flushing toilet and almost complete privacy. There's mains water. With prior notice, you could use the washing machine inside the house and hang your clothes on the clothes line strung between trees. Parking for two cars and/or caravan/campervan is easy. A circular driveway surrounds the house with a driveway extension. I hope to build an outside kitchen at the nearby shed, but for now campers need to be self-contained for their cooking and washing up, or else take the short walk to Kingston Beach and the excellent cafes and restaurants there. Food scraps need to go in a compost bin on site. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a fire when conditions allow it. Longer pieces of firewood are provided free of charge and kindling can easily be collected from around. (I'd rather you didn't use the shorter pieces of cut firewood as they are for my wood heater). You could enjoy a wood fired bush bath for a small charge, conditions allowing, with advance notice. Early evening is the best time to enjoy a bush bath and star gazing with set up in the afternoon. Wildlife is abundant and includes birds, wallabies, possums, echidnas and bandicoots. You are welcome to bring your small dog, but please ensure it's under control at all times. Wildlife are at risk if your dog is a hunter and roams free. Tyndall Beach (the Kingston dog beach) down the road is where your furry friends can have a run. Walk them to the beach on a lead and let them off there. I have an older Jack Russell who is afraid of big dogs, sorry. I think this is the perfect place to experience a little bush luxury before beginning or ending your Tassie adventures. I look forward to meeting you!

Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Please contact me if this area interests you.

The Barn from early 1900 has been restored to create a touch of luxury to your rural escape. The Barn is spacious with cathedral ceiling in main living space and exposed beams in the bedrooms. It's an inviting colonial eclectic space that makes you feel right at home. (the attic is used for storage and the stairs are blocked at the bottom for child safety)

Lovely hosts, met us on arrival and gave us a run through on spots to camp at. Got a bit of background on their farm and the berries they grow, very friendly and helpful. Depending on where you camp it's a short stroll to access the creek which is great for kayaking all the way to the beach. Quiet and peaceful, hosts were available for any assistance we needed.

Great camp. Really friendly hosts. The camp-site is only 15minutes further than staying at the showgrounds. We had the place to ourselves. Kids loved the trampoline. Huge, flat site and water to fill your tanks. Really easy to get into Hobart. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Kathryn and Alex’s place. Their berry farm is immaculate, a true credit to them both. The site we stayed at was so private and quiet. It was very generous, with a beautiful hand sawn picnic table and fire pit with seating. The visiting pademelons kept us entertained and the beautiful fresh water stream sent us off into a deep sleep each night.

From the moment we arrived at the Woodley property in Adventure Bay, we felt welcome. We were greeted by a beautiful, peaceful setting and two genuinely warm hosts — Alex and Kathyrn. The property is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach, yet feels wonderfully secluded, surrounded by native bushland. Woodley is clearly a labour of love. The berry and fruit orchards are stunning and carefully maintained, with Kathyrn, Alex and their father Lee regularly working around the property. We loved that they generously shared some of the harvest with guests, which added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. There are two excellent campsites, both very flat, well protected from the elements, and thoughtfully spaced so campers can enjoy privacy and quiet. Firewood is available to purchase, and the fireplace and table made evenings around the fire easy and comfortable. Alex and Kathyrn were gracious and attentive hosts, offering local knowledge, stories, and a genuine sense of care without ever being intrusive. The campsite is close to everything — you can walk into Adventure Bay for a coffee, and it’s only a short drive to beaches, walks, and local attractions. We spent a full week here with the family and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to the beach made it an ideal place to slow down and reconnect with nature. We highly recommend Woodley to anyone travelling with a campervan or tent. Thank you,

We ended up here after we had to leave another camping area! And wish that we had come here first! It was everything we needed! Very peacefull and quiet! Rod was great pointing us in the right direction! It was a perfect base for Bruny! Next door was a lovely garden that we explored too! Our site had just been freshly mowed! On a creek, we were able to have a firepot which was great! Would reccomend rods hipcamp to anyone who is headed to Bruny! Thanks rod!

Woodleigh was just perfect! Nestled amongst the lush gardens by the little creek, a bountiful orchard of berries to enjoy at our leisure and the sounds of the waves crashing at the historical Two Tree Point beach - we felt as though we had landed in heaven. Kathryn and Alex were so warm and welcoming and even gave us a lovely jar of homemade jam to enjoy with instructions where to find the local sourdough bread stall. Adventure Bay was a wonderful base to explore South Bruny and we were able to see so many incredible sights whilst there for the 2 nights. We can highly recommend Woodleigh and hope to return again one day.
