Overall we had a great stay here. I enjoyed that it was private and cosy. There was a caravan there but don't think anyone is in there. Nothing worried me but may worry others.
It was close to the highway but tucked away behind it and was not that noisy.
It got filtered sun in the morning and afternoon.
I enjoyed my time here and felt very relaxed.

Close to caves. Quiet bush spot.

It’s a lovely little bush spot. Super close to the caves and a short drive from Southport.
We pulled in with the intent to stay but due to the aurora headed further south with clearer skies, were a bit sad to not stay the night as a spot away from the crowds was the goal..
We were in a 6-7m camper. Access was ok but tight, would be easy to bump against logs near entry if you don’t pay attention. Turning around was tight but ok. Would walk in first before coming in with anything longer.
Ground isn’t totally flat but it’s ok. In this county a bit of slope is likely good if you get any rain so it doesn’t get muddy.
Owners caravan is pretty close to the site, so doesn’t feel totally wilderness if that’s what you are chasing but it’s a lovely place to spend the night and I expect a great place to see some of the more shy bush animals at night if you are lucky. Being able to have a fire is a big plus in cooler months. Overall we would have been happy to spend the night but unlikely to recommend as a longer term base.

Overall it is a very peaceful bush location.
Unfortunately on our trip the rain had caused the driveway to become very soft and unsafe to drive on for a 2wd. We camped at the entrance to the property of the driveway. The allocated camp spot did not have a level spot, or much of a turn around point if you were towing. Entry point is tight with large tree trunk either side, manageable in a toyota hiace but larger vehicles may struggle. Site would suit 4WD with chocks. There is a caravan on site, a neighbour came over and checked on us on the first night andbtold us someone lived in there but was reclusive however he could have been making a joke. Cant comment as we didnt camp close to the caravan.

Loved Amanda's camping spot! Very peaceful and loved listening to the birds and the wind through the treas. Also great for going to visit the caves and water springs nearby. 🤩😎🌼
