This 20 acre working property is dedicated to our horses, dogs, birds and relaxing!
You are welcome to wander into the big paddock to access the walking trails and continue on to explore the scrub area where many native birds come and go including kookaburras.
The line of trees planted in the gully area are dedicated koala forage trees so also wander down there and have a look and see if you can spot one.
Your relaxed property walk will take you past paddocked sheep (they may run up to you if they think you have something for them to eat. Cut apples or carrots into pieces for them ) Rams and Whethers are together in their own paddock, alpacas and Bobby are in with the Ewes and any lambs at the time protecting them from predators in another paddock.
There are horses, Dallas the mule (please do not enter their paddocks) , wild ducks at the dam, as well as our ducks and geese if they are out of their enclosure that day. There are raceways between all paddocks to continue your walk all around the property. Beware of the electric fencing though, it hurts if you touch it!
We also have some very friendly chooks and turkeys that LOVE to say hello and be hand fed chopped up pieces of apple, carrot, grapes and especially watermelon! Feel free to give them any food scraps you might have. We also have a family of magpies will enjoy any meat scraps you leave for them too.Dallas, our mule is always up for a bit of attention and any apples or carrots you might like to share with him.
Dallas is rather special as his dad is a "mammoth donkey" who has been imported from America. His mum is a stunning thoroughbred. Mammoth donkeys are a bigger/taller breed of donkey than Australian donkeys are. They are beginning to be used up north on stations instead of horses as mules are sturdier, more sure footed, not as flighty as horses so safer for stock men and women to use working with cattle. They can live into their late 30,s so have a longer working life as well.

Campsites 1, 2 and 3 are on the right hand side as you drive in via the automatic opening gate which you will be given access to once we have added your mobile number to the system after you have booked. We are currently planting more native shrubs and trees in this area to encourage even more bird life plus provide future windbreaks and further divide sites. From this area you will see the most spectacular sunsets and be able to have an open campfire during winter season.
The Dam It site, Tree line site and Solar paddock site are through another gate on the left hand side opposite site 3/ the paddock with the solar panels in it before you reach our residence, aviaries and toilet.
It is also through this gate you go to access the walking trails.
Besides sitting back relaxing reading a book with a nice local wine in your hand there are other nearby options to fill your days while staying on our property.
Take a short drive down Goldsfield Rd to the Mining Museum and hiking trails. A few KM's towards Williamstown stop in and see the Whispering Wall, built between 1899 and 1903, for its time of construction the dam was deemed a revolutionary engineering marvel. Sounds and voices, even a whisper can be clearly heard at the other end of the dam more then 100 meters away.
Continue on through Williamstown and hire a kayak and explore the Warren Reservoir with the resident pelicans. The Warren reservoir was built on the South Para River between 1914 and 1916.
Mt Crawford forest is then another short drive on where you can hike, ride and picnic and be guaranteed to see kangaroos in their natural habitat.
We are also ideally located being at the gateway to numerous wineries, take your e-bike and explore the towns in the Barossa Valley which are linked with rose lined bitumen trails, explore the shops, cafes and enjoy delectable food, stop in at the Lavender Farm, treat yourself to a scenic flights with Barossa Helicopters or challenge yourself at Barossa Bowland and fantastic themed Dinosaur mini golf just to name even more options!
Less than 10 minute drive from our front gate will have you at the lovely town of Lyndoch where the local IGA is a handy stop for those emergency essentials as well as the local bakery, craft shop, pub, post office, Lord of Lyndoch restaurant, Table Cafe Kies winery for starters. 10 Minures the other direction will see you at a new suburb Springwood which has a variety of shops and a Chemist, couple minutes further will have you at the lovely town of Gawler. The visitor center here is also home to local artists to exhibit their works.
Like to kayak? Well a short drive will take you to spectacular opportunities to do so. Hire is also available at the site at different times of the year.
Love exploring by bike? You are at the heartland of multiple trails you can access too. Local bike hire options are available too.
As you can see, you have plenty of options to tailor your stay to suit the type of experience you are after.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.
We are 45 minute drive
from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.
We are only 30 minutes drive from
Monarto Conservation Park
which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals.

Obviously vehicles lengths vary. Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed.

Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon.
Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.

This 20 acre working property is dedicated to our horses, dogs, birds and relaxing!
You are welcome to wander into the big paddock to access the walking trails and continue on to explore the scrub area where many native birds come and go including kookaburras.
The line of trees planted in the gully area are dedicated koala forage trees so also wander down there and have a look and see if you can spot one.
Your relaxed property walk will take you past paddocked sheep (they may run up to you if they think you have something for them to eat. Cut apples or carrots into pieces for them ) Rams and Whethers are together in their own paddock, alpacas and Bobby are in with the Ewes and any lambs at the time protecting them from predators in another paddock.
There are horses, Dallas the mule (please do not enter their paddocks) , wild ducks at the dam, as well as our ducks and geese if they are out of their enclosure that day. There are raceways between all paddocks to continue your walk all around the property. Beware of the electric fencing though, it hurts if you touch it!
We also have some very friendly chooks and turkeys that LOVE to say hello and be hand fed chopped up pieces of apple, carrot, grapes and especially watermelon! Feel free to give them any food scraps you might have. We also have a family of magpies will enjoy any meat scraps you leave for them too.Dallas, our mule is always up for a bit of attention and any apples or carrots you might like to share with him.
Dallas is rather special as his dad is a "mammoth donkey" who has been imported from America. His mum is a stunning thoroughbred. Mammoth donkeys are a bigger/taller breed of donkey than Australian donkeys are. They are beginning to be used up north on stations instead of horses as mules are sturdier, more sure footed, not as flighty as horses so safer for stock men and women to use working with cattle. They can live into their late 30,s so have a longer working life as well.

Campsites 1, 2 and 3 are on the right hand side as you drive in via the automatic opening gate which you will be given access to once we have added your mobile number to the system after you have booked. We are currently planting more native shrubs and trees in this area to encourage even more bird life plus provide future windbreaks and further divide sites. From this area you will see the most spectacular sunsets and be able to have an open campfire during winter season.
The Dam It site, Tree line site and Solar paddock site are through another gate on the left hand side opposite site 3/ the paddock with the solar panels in it before you reach our residence, aviaries and toilet.
It is also through this gate you go to access the walking trails.
Besides sitting back relaxing reading a book with a nice local wine in your hand there are other nearby options to fill your days while staying on our property.
Take a short drive down Goldsfield Rd to the Mining Museum and hiking trails. A few KM's towards Williamstown stop in and see the Whispering Wall, built between 1899 and 1903, for its time of construction the dam was deemed a revolutionary engineering marvel. Sounds and voices, even a whisper can be clearly heard at the other end of the dam more then 100 meters away.
Continue on through Williamstown and hire a kayak and explore the Warren Reservoir with the resident pelicans. The Warren reservoir was built on the South Para River between 1914 and 1916.
Mt Crawford forest is then another short drive on where you can hike, ride and picnic and be guaranteed to see kangaroos in their natural habitat.
We are also ideally located being at the gateway to numerous wineries, take your e-bike and explore the towns in the Barossa Valley which are linked with rose lined bitumen trails, explore the shops, cafes and enjoy delectable food, stop in at the Lavender Farm, treat yourself to a scenic flights with Barossa Helicopters or challenge yourself at Barossa Bowland and fantastic themed Dinosaur mini golf just to name even more options!
Less than 10 minute drive from our front gate will have you at the lovely town of Lyndoch where the local IGA is a handy stop for those emergency essentials as well as the local bakery, craft shop, pub, post office, Lord of Lyndoch restaurant, Table Cafe Kies winery for starters. 10 Minures the other direction will see you at a new suburb Springwood which has a variety of shops and a Chemist, couple minutes further will have you at the lovely town of Gawler. The visitor center here is also home to local artists to exhibit their works.
Like to kayak? Well a short drive will take you to spectacular opportunities to do so. Hire is also available at the site at different times of the year.
Love exploring by bike? You are at the heartland of multiple trails you can access too. Local bike hire options are available too.
As you can see, you have plenty of options to tailor your stay to suit the type of experience you are after.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.

from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.

Between the Clare and Barossa Valley's we are located centrally to both for easy access day trips exploring the fine wines, fabulous food, shopping, push bike trails and activities offered in the region.
Serenity is nestled quietly amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find spacious camping spots, room to explore or relax, peaceful starry nights, quiet country roads for walking or pushbike riding with spectacular views of the ranges and the valley as well as kangaroos, kookaburras, possums and more native wildlife.
Children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks and explore here, it's perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing. Pets are also very happy here and love to come camping.
Bush camping at its best with firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided as well as a clean long drop toilet for your convenience.
No chainsaws here please.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.
Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton

All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest.
No chainsaws on property.
Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 8.30PM

Six Strings is a family owned six-acre vineyard in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula - one of the region's most loved holiday destinations for both locals and travellers. We're a short drive from the stunning beaches of Port Willunga, Silver Sands and Sellicks, plus the many celebrated McLaren Vale wineries. A short walk will take you into the historic Aldinga main street, where you'll find the pub, a boutique brewery, cafés, restaurants and a few handy shops.

We have 43 beautiful acres half way between Goolwa and Strathalbyn. We are located walking distance from lake alexandrina, we’re there are plenty of activities to do such as fishing, boating, and more. There is abundance of wildlife with our resident mob of kangaroos stoping by daily it’s a bird watchers paradise.
This site is a 4 minute walk from the main house and is completely private. The property has its own private road so plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes, we have horses and cows that guests are welcome to feed over the fence. Dogs are welcome lots of room for them to run around, we also have paddle boards for hire.
The town of milang has its own mini mart and cafe and on weekends the train museum is open for viewing.
Must be self contained and leave no trace.

Another fantastic stay at Edgehill on a beautiful shady site with views to take your breath away. Trish and Peter are the most hospitable hosts going around, from fresh farm eggs to a water top up nothing was too much trouble and they were only too happy to help. Peter was so generous with his time speaking with us in a bit more detail about their farms and some of their farming practices when it comes to mustering, really interesting stuff. We brought friends along for their first visit this time and it was a real thrill to see how much the kids embraced the landscape. Who would have thought a few trees, some rocks and a creek bed could keep them entertained for so many hours on end. Being able to enjoy the crystal clear night sky for an uninterrupted look at the stars is also something we will all remember for a long time. Edgehill is a wonderful place to visit with incredibly welcoming hosts and endless panoramas no matter where you look.

We loved our stay at The Hut! Such a beautiful property and the fenced area was perfect so our pup could run and explore safely. The hut was cosy (especially when it got windy), and we were very thankful for the toilet facilities. We also loved the camels and the extremely generous welcome basket on arrival. Definitely recommend! The views here were amazing! And the hosts were too. We were invited by Trish and Peter to the bar to watch the sunset with some other campers wich was fun. We had a beautiful spot with no one nearby with our own long drop toilet which was very kept. We will absolutely be back 😁

Excellent flat open area to park your van or camper trailer with views over Kim and Michael's vineyard.
We did a wine tasting with Michael that was extremely educational about the wine making process and the wines were so good we couldn't resist buying half a dozen for our onward travels. I might say only 4 made it off the property. Highly recommend a stay here, absolutely wonderful. Cheers Peter and Karen

What a great spot. We spent 4 nights at Vineyard Views and loved it. Thoroughly enjoyed Michael's wine tasting (highly recommend)! The location is peaceful and rural surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, yet close to amenities. Plenty of space for larger vans. Both Michael and Kim were very welcoming and accommodating hosts. A+++

Sam, Chris and their menagerie of gorgeous animals, most of which have been rescued are the most beautiful beings that walked this earth!! When we arrived they were so accommodating re which site we could have as lucky 🍀 for us, they were strangely available so we picked the “horse arena” site for our Hybrid caravan. Next time we will be staying at “The Hut”. We were gifted home made biscuits and their chickens egg and they spent time with us feeding the animals and then 2 days later a while morning with our grandkids.
If you don’t book here, you have missed a piece of heaven on earth hosted by a divine couple!!

Woodland campsite is a peaceful, secluded campsite with many thoughtful additions. The campsite was private but easy to locate and access.
We appreciated the two great firepits, a shelter with picnic table, toilet and plenty of space. An easy drive to the Murray River, Bowhill and beyond.
Booking and was so easy and informative, Lynette is a great host. Thanks Lynette, we will be back!

Was a very quiet and peaceful spot. I camped on Gums site. Had no phone or internet connection (if you need it you can go to the top of yhe hill and get some exercise on the way lol) so it was a complete unplug and enjoy nature experience. Rodney is easy going and responsive to messages (if you have connection). Will probably book again

We had such a wonderful experience staying at The Hut! The place is absolutely stunning.. peaceful, beautifully set up, and the views are just breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot to relax and disconnect.
Sam was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the little welcome treat was such a thoughtful touch. You can really feel the care and effort that’s been put into creating such a special space.
