Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Pichi Richi Park is our family owned and operated property, 13km south of Quorn in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass. We have plenty of campsites, including bush campsites that are secluded and private, along with campsites that are much closer to our bathrooms, group accommodation, kitchens and bush cabins. Here at Pichi Richi Park, there are a number of signposted walking tracks ranging in distance from a few km up to a 10km+ loop. The Heysen Trail comes through our property for nearly 7km and some of our own walking tracks link with the Heysen as it meanders through our property. You can also ride your mountain bike around and the Mawson Bike Trail is not far away. We have over 1,000 acres of land around our accommodation that we do not graze as we are allowing this beautiful piece of Aussie outback to return to its original and pristine state. We are not a caravan park, so all campers and caravanners that come here get a fair bit of space and nobody is on top of anyone else. Quorn is our local town and is 13km away to the north. Quorn has 2 pubs, a number of cafes and a little supermarket that is open from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week. The Hay Valley Farm is perched on a ridge that looks west towards Mount Lofty and east towards Murray Bridge. We have stunning views from both sides of the ridge and in particular we get beautiful sunrise and sunset views. We are a working farm with a vineyard, orchard and livestock. Our farm is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region so we really do have the best of both worlds; stunning views & peaceful surroundings plus amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at our finger tips. Picture waking up to beautiful views of the Mount Lofty Ranges on one side, a stunning sunrise on the other and native birds singing sweetly all around you. At The Landing you'll be surrounded by big beautiful old gum trees in a peaceful farm setting. You'll see a variety of bird life, kangaroos and maybe even a koala or an echidna if you're lucky. The Landing is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region with amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at your finger tips. Lot 100, Howard Vineyard, Murdoch Hill, Artwine, Bird In Hand Winery, Simon Tolley Wines and Barristers Block Wines are only a short drive away. So we really do have the best of both worlds; stunning views, peaceful surroundings and award winning wineries and eateries close by. And after a day of touring the region make sure you're back in time to watch the sun go down because the sunsets are spectacular. So don't forget to pack your comfy camp chair, a bottle of wine or beer, and a cheese platter and get ready to relax and unwind at The Landing at Hay Valley. Please read and note the following: 1) Please note our base price of $30 per night is based on two people per night, even if there is only one guest staying. It is an extra $15 per person per night for any additional adult guests or $10 per child per night. 2) We only book one group at a time at the site so if you book you'll have the whole area to yourself. 3) There are no toilet/shower facilities available so please be self sufficient. If you are staying longer than one night you need to bring your own portable chemical toilet please, as per Hipcamp’s rules. 4) There are sheep and friendly goats living on the site at the moment. The sheep won't bother you but the goats may come and say hello but shouldn't bother you. Please don't feed them as then they will pester you. 5) We do not issue refunds for bad weather. Our camp is 720m above sea level with one the best views overlooking the Southern Flinders Ranges! We are so lucky to have the historic Tarcowie pub open down the road just 6 minutes away, open for meals and beers. Bush campers should plan to be self-sufficient, there is a full flush toilet for use and untreated water for use at every site. However there are no showering facilities or drinking water provided. Edgehill Farm Stays Riverton

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING, this property is situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. Located at the end of a bitumen road in the town of Beltana, the campsites are adjacent to the local hall. There are showers, toilets, a free BBQ in the community park , mobile phone coverage and potable water available We are the closest campground to the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors. There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome. This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town. The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail. Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.
