FIRE BAN SEASON ENDS APRIL 2025 COMFORT FIRES ONLY!! Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week. Tarlee Hotel has the best meals as well. Important Information to know before All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead. Generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. No chainsaws on property. Loud music not permitted, please turn silent by 10 pm. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY No rally driving. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. Livin on the Ledge
This is a perfect spot to camp and the hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. Happy hour at the bar on the hill was fun for an awesome sunset.

I loved camping at Edgehill, Trish was loving! She checked in on us to make sure we had everything we need. The sunset was spectacular! Would highly recommend!!

Tiny Creek Paddock
This is a great place to camp and view the stars at night. The Trish and Peter were really nice and helpful, which is one of the reasons we decided to camp here. We definitely plan to come back.

Trish and Peter were super helpful, led us to the campsite (and back) and even provided a fire pit and some wood.
