Weekend Trip to Red Cedar Valley

This property is awesome. 2 families with 4 kids under 7. With no other campers in sight, The kids just roamed all day adventuring through the creeks and paddocks. No reception meant that adults were not tempted to pick up the phone that made 3.5 days feel like a week off work. Big thanks to Ryan. We have a 4WD (with stock tyres) and Jayco outback pop-top camper and we struggled to get up a couple of the hills on the property. This was due to a lot of rain the days before hand and the track being slippery. We ended up getting stuck on one of the hills. As friends of ours went to ask Ryan for a tow, we noticed I had punctured a tyre in one of the creeks crossing to get there. Now we were stuck on a hill, with a heavy camper trailer and needing to change a tyre. As I chocked all the wheels to stop the ute slipping, Ryan was straight under there in 6inches of mud placing the jack in position and started replacing the tyre. After replacing the tyre, he hooked up the snatch strap and towed us up the top towards our site. Ryan will be receiving a carton of beer from me next time we head out, hopefully with better tyres and a little less mud on the tracks.

We spent a couple of nights at Native Lime Camp and had a really enjoyable time. The kids loved the creek and the cows and the mud and Ryan was very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers were clean and a short walk away. Plenty of space to roam and very private.

2 nights at Tallebudgera Veg Sanctuary.

I had a wonderful experience at this camp! The view is absolutely stunning, and the place itself is beautiful, filled with great energy. Dr. T and Richard took excellent care of us, making the experience even more special. I truly believe it’s worth visiting — I highly recommend it!

Really lovely, lush and private property. Well kept is an understatement. Everything that was promised in the ad and more. We found heaps of natives like Illawarra plums, native lime trees and mushrooms galore. Creek running through was where we spent most our time. Thanks for having us. Appreciate it!!!! Weekend Trip to Gypsy Cabin

My partner and I had a great time staying at Gypsy Cabin. We stayed during the Easter long weekend and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and cold enough to enjoy the huge firepit. The cabin felt private enough from the owner's property with the surrounding trees and wide land. The animals were friendly and approachable (especially when being fed). The host Juliette was great at communicating and she left us some firewood, animal feed and Easter eggs to enhance our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we neefed to enjoy our stay. Would love to come back.

2 nights at Binna Burra Lodge

We loved camping at Binna Burra for all the comforts of home away from home. Can’t beat hot showers, flushing toilets, kitchen facilities including microwave and fridge all whilst living amongst forest trees. Rise early in morning to hot cooked breakfast ready for amazing hiking trails with waterfalls and rock pools.

This was a great hipcamp. It would have been nicer to have had the time to stay longer. Karen was very helpful. The shower was great and just what we needed after a long drive. Thanks for the stay.

I loved staying At Quails Ridge Farm Stay. It was perfect for our two kids as there is a playground, cubby house and pool. So much to do! And we went for a walk. We will definitely be going back!

Karen and Nick are great hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay during what was very wet weather by offering the use of an indoor shower and toilet in one of the vacant cabins which we greatly appreciated. The property is located in a central location to many of the great walks and views in the region. We would certainly recommend it as an ideal location to camp and explore the region.

𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄 & 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 Totally exceptional experience from initial enquiry to actual stay. Ryan & Kellie are amazing, sharing their slice of heaven and providing an abundance of information both before & during our stay! We dragged our 4x4 13ft Hybrid Van into the Red Cedar Camp area (make sure you have a capable van & tow tug if attempting this as parts of the track will require 4x4 capabilities). As we entered the track to our campsite we were totally blown away by the beauty of the forest canopy above us (forgot to take pics) and before us. A few creek crossings (photos don't do them justice) and then WOW, an opening that was our camp site right beside the creek and at the end of the track so no traffic travelling through ❤️ We are officially in love and will be back !!

We spent two nights at the cattlemen’s cabin for a family adventure. Had a fantastic weekend - we loved it here. The kids loved the creeks, riding on the property on their bikes and cooking marshmallows on the fire pit. We hope to return again someday.

We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. We are located 50km from Brisbane CBD, 1km from the Warrego Hwy, Sundowner Saloon and the country township of Marburg. We have a several cattle and horses, and regularly kangaroo, hare, and eagles frequent the farm. All overseen and kept in order by the ever present "Ziggy" and "Harvey" our lovely English Pointers. Enjoy lovely views and relaxed peaceful settings. The farm is off grid but all the normal services are available. We also have a little vegie garden that always needs a water, and the animals love their carrots and grain. Close to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Fernvale, Upper Brisbane River and Wivenhoe districts. In the area, you may want to check out the township of Marburg (local pub, shops and coffee), Sundowner Hotel, Savages Crossing, or the RAAF Amberley Heritage Museum (plan ahead). Friendly pets welcome as long as they are kept under control and are not a danger to the livestock. Field of Dreams takes no responsibility for the safety of visiting animals.
