I have 8 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy, and all Dog and Kid friendly, shallow water, and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play.
Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space, great swimming and lots of things to here and in the surrounding areas.
Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway.
All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only
I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys.
Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is
full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds.
We are 20 min South of Warwick,
We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days,
We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring
and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky.

We loved camping at Mountview Wines. It was spacious and quiet. Toilets and showers were awesome.
Sharon and her husband were so accommodating and did a private wine tasting for us at the cellar door. The "Bloody Good Red" was great as mentioned by other campers.
Sharon and her husband popped around to our camp site for a chat and a drink which was lovely.

Mountview was one of the best camp sites we’ve stayed at. The facilities (hot showers, toilets, camp kitchen, BBQs) were in great condition and very easy to access. You are able to choose your own campsite (no allocated lots) so you can make sure the spot works for you and has enough space away from other campers. We had plenty of space and a view of the vineyard which was lovely. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They also bring the goats up in the afternoon for you to say hello which is very cute. We stayed with our dog and toddler and had the best time. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at Carbeen Camping and Farmstay over the New Year. It is a relaxing location, flat and well looked after. Host are lovely people, checked in with us every day to ensure everything was ok. They even supplied free fire wood. Shame the dam was a little too weedy for a swim. Lots of kangaroos of an evening coming to the dam for a drink. Even had the odd huge goanna wonder thru campsite a few times. Will be back.

Cathy is a super chill and gracious host. 8 spots on the property but you are no where near anyone so privacy is guaranteed. My spot was Top of the Hill. Be sure to bring a marquee or shade of some sort as you get the direct sun and will get hot. Otherwise, everything was spectacular and relaxing
only 25 mins to Warwick and 25 min to a winery. Definetly going back.

Mountview Winery was excellent, I can’t speak highly enough of the amenities and the campgrounds. We arrived late however I think we scored the best site next to the tree. If you are thinking about having the pizza on Saturday night, do it as you won’t regret it. The view of the vines in the early morning and the working dogs running through them chasing the UTV isn’t half bad either. We were both very sorry to leave this morning and already planning our next trip! Thank you Sandy for accommodating us and our dog Toby this long weekend.

Wow, we had a fantastic time at Carbean Camping & Farmstay. Sandy and Lyle are fabulous hosts. Plenty to do and explore. We went panning in the Macintyre Brook, unfortunately no gold for us so back to work it is for me. We also hiked up road to the site of the old sheep shearing structure and found a few relics left behind. Plenty of fishing in the dam and detecting around the campsite finding all sorts of things. We even had an encounter with a stray lamb separated from the flock and had the privilege of giving it a bottle feed. Now I know the lay of the land we’re extremely keen to get back out there and do more exploring across the property. See you soon folks!! Cheers, Frase and Gib.
