CALLEMONDAH FARM CAMPING Callemondah is a 1500 acre Farm owned by Norm and Rhonda Betts located south of Warwick in Queensland. Callemondah is Aboriginal for "Many Hills" and the Farm is an Aussie Whites Sheep Stud Farm. Callemondah Camping is a new designated camping area that overlooks a picturesque waterhole and park like setting. There are fire pits to cook your food with and to have a campfire, just ask for a load of firewood or book it through Hipcamp here. We can hold and cater for functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings and Corporate Outdoor and Team building Functions. We do allow dogs that must remain on a leash at all times. You can also bring your horse/s on planned events and ride through the paddocks and hills of Callemondah Farm. The farm is a scenic mixture of wide open grazing fields and areas of native bushland which features native bird life and wildlife such as cockatoos, black cockatoos, galahs, crows, mapgies, kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and more. The Rosenthal creek meanders through Callemondah Farm which is very beautiful and makes for a lovely walk or to sit beside and create a painting. You can go for an amble throughout the farm or do a larger hike and take in the spectacular views from the various high points. (by arrangement only) Breeding Stud Sheep is the main agricultural activity on the Farm and there are pigs in the newly built piggery, poultry, farm dogs, horses and other farm animals featured. You can drive into Warwick which is only 5 minutes away, go for a country drive or take a trip to Stanthorpe, Allora, Yangan and other towns for the day or to visit markets and events. There are various National Parks you can visit to go hiking and we can organize horse riding and other activities for you and your family. Greenup Meeting Place is a picturesque 50 acre property, with frontage on Bracker Creek and Coolmunda Dam. Our property is located near Inglewood, close to the Queensland border. Once home to Greenup School, the land is rich in history – the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind. Based in the middle to explore the Goondiwindi region and surrounds. Our peaceful, non-powered campsites have plenty of room for singles, families and groups. We cater for tents, caravans, RVs and camper trailers. Our sites have access to toilet and shower facilities. Your closet dump point and water is in the township of Inglewood (25klms). Where you are able to top up for your needs. Our dormitory style and family room accommodation is ideal for small and large groups of up to 50 people with shared toilet and shower facilities and a dedicated sitting room available. Fish the creek for Yellowbelly, Cod or just sit back, relax and enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife. Have a swim, go kayaking or take a walk to explore. Or why not join us for a coffee and meal at CC Cafe Thursday-Sunday! Pet friendly yes, all pets are to be kept at your camp, on leash to walk and must be cleaned up after. Generators are allowed, MUST be OFF by 8pm as a consideration to others. Our gates close at 4PM if you are unable to be in by 5PM you will have to unfortunately arrive the following day. Internet and phone coverage can very poor WELCOME TO THE BUSH.

this place was amazing abd so beautiful and it was great we were left to do our own thing but when it started to storm and I needed a hand they were very helpful. id recommend to anyone. oh there was this massive dog on the property he's amazing we named him sir fluffles lol (not his real name)

Norm was very helpful with directions on how to get to the campsite, and the drive in was beautiful. We stayed for two nights and although we didnt spend much time on the grounds due to visiting family, the time we did spend was peaceful and picturesque.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Norm was a great host - awesome communication, reliable, and just a genuinely nice person who want you to enjoy your stay (e.g. he put some grain down near our camp so the kids could get a closer look at the animals). The kids loved playing in the dam with the rope swing and canoe. Love that you can pick your own site and have a campfire - grass is kept short, there is plenty of shade from the gum trees, and a peaceful bush vibe. Feeding the pigs was also a highlight for everyone! There is heaps of room to explore - certainly doesnt feel like you are only 10mins from town. Basic bathroom did the job - portaloo was your average portaloo. It was in a central location and a good distance to all sites.

What a great find! A beautiful peaceful camp on the green banks of the Bracker Creek on Lake Coolmunda. Birdlife a plenty along with kangaroos and emus. Each site is huge and comes with a fire pit with wood. You’ll need a chainsaw and axe to chop it up. Bonus is the quirky CC’s Cafe. Congratulations to the owners. I’ll certainly be staying here again and also recommend it to my caravanning friends.

Lovely clean farmland. Close to Warwick and a short drive to Stanthorpe. Dam for the kids to swim in, which they all loved. Great that norm does the rounds of an arvo with firewood for sale, and to ask families to join in with animal feeding.

A beautiful spot with considerate and thoughtful hosts. The Vet Shed is well provisioned with lots of handy things you’d normally have at home. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Robyn was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely come back with the family and friends.

Norm was very welcoming from the time we arrived. He took the kids for rides on his bike up to the house with us to feed the animals and the kids had the best time feeding the pigs and patting the dogs. Would highly recommend and would visit again.

The most magical, relaxing and welcoming little sanctuary west of the range.♥️🌈🌠 Stunning scenery camping along the river, stare into your own little open fire pit or just up at the endless amount of stars. Cooked dinner if you don't want to or a coffee maded fresh when you walk up for a shower in the morning. All round amazing.
