CALLEMONDAH FARM CAMPING
Callemondah is a 1500 acre Farm owned by Norm and Rhonda Betts located south of Warwick in Queensland.
Callemondah is Aboriginal for "Many Hills" and the Farm is an Aussie Whites Sheep Stud Farm featuring also cattle, horses, pigs and chickens.
Callemondah Bush Stay Camping area overlooks a picturesque waterhole and a creek with great stands of gum trees spaced throughout a park like setting.
There are fire pits to cook your food with and to have a campfire, just ask for a load of firewood from Farmer Norm.
We have toilets but no showers yet and we have new undercover shelters for everyone.
The farm is a scenic mixture of wide open grazing fields and areas of native bushland which features native bird life and wildlife such as cockatoos, black cockatoos, galahs, crows, mapgies, kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and more.
The Rosenthal creek meanders through Callemondah Farm which is very beautiful and makes for a lovely walk or to sit beside and create a painting.
You can go for an amble throughout the farm or do a larger hike and take in the spectacular views from the various high points. (by arrangement only)
Breeding Stud Sheep and beef cattle are the main agricultural activity on the Farm and there are pigs in the newly built piggery, poultry, farm dogs, horses and other farm animals featured.
You can drive into Warwick which is only 5 minutes away, go for a country drive or take a trip to Stanthorpe, Allora, Yangan and other towns for the day or to visit markets and events.
We can hold and cater for functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings and Corporate Outdoor and Team building Functions.
You can also bring your horse/s on planned events and ride through the paddocks and hills of Callemondah Farm.
We do allow dogs that must remain on a leash at all times.
There are various National Parks you can visit to go hiking and we can organize Archery, horse riding and other activities in the local area for you and your family.
So we hope Callemondah Calls you to come and stay and we welcome you to stay for a day, a weekend or longer and spend some time on our fantastic farm.

Our dormitory style and family room accommodation is ideal for small and large groups of up to 50 people with shared toilet and shower facilities and a dedicated sitting room available. Fish the creek for Yellowbelly, Cod or just sit back, relax and enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife. Have a swim, go kayaking or take a walk to explore. Or why not join us for a coffee and meal at CC Cafe Thursday-Sunday!
Pet friendly yes, all pets are to be kept at your camp, on leash to walk and must be cleaned up after.
Generators are allowed, MUST be OFF by 8pm as a consideration to others.
Our gates close at 4PM if you are unable to be in by 5PM you will have to unfortunately arrive the following day.

Recycling at the grounds is very impressive 😄 The staff were very nice and accommodating which made our quick weekend away well worth it 😄
The Meetup cafe was a life saver for the trip home as coffee is sold there! Firewood was available to purchase and the cafe had a history of Greenup section which was really interesting 🤔 The toilets and showers were around this area too. The toilets and showers are well maintained.
Prepare yourself with pre downloaded music and some beers ! Great weekend getaway! New camping destination for us :)

Norm was a fantastic host! Nothing was too much trouble. He invited us up to feed the pigs and pat the puppies which the kids adored. So much room to set up and while we were 1 of about 5 other campers, you wouldn’t have known. The dam was awesome to cool off in with a beverage and our dogs too. Will definitely return!

We had a lovely two night stop over at Norms and if we didn’t need to keep moving North towards home we would have happily extended our stay. Norm was welcoming, accommodating and friendly, and had the kids up each night to help feed the pigs.
Norms property and camp ground were well maintained, peaceful, and nice and quiet for sleeping. Warwick was close enough that we drove in for dinner one night, visited the Darling Downs Zoo and the Sandy Creek pub.
We highly recommend Norms place at Callemondah.

From the size of you site, the access to the creek, and everything else you'd need right here.
