Exclusive private site on our 80acre WORKING* property just off the Warrego Highway at Haigslea.

We are a working small rural property so with that comes seasonal tractor work/trucks and an element of busy, depending on what projects are on the go! Real taste of rural life while being smack bang in the privacy and serenity of our buzzing property!

The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore.
The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower, and drinking water supply.
A basic long drop outhouse is set up for guest use.

We have lots of wildlife in particular birds, hence dogs need to be on a leashes at all times. We are located half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with the bush giving our property great privacy. There is lots of opportunity for bush walking.

Awesome site! Very spacious and private, with a lovely view, and extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts! We saw wild red deer and some wallabies, caught some massive red claw in the crab pots provided, and high quality firewood 😁 Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed it so much we came back. This is a gorgeous location. Plenty of space and having access to the dam is great for the afternoon dip and sundowners. The camp kitchen is next level. Hosts Annette and Christine are wonderful and really look after the facilities so every visit is amazing.

This is our second trip to the property and we love it. Annette and Christine the hosts are amazing and have created a beautiful property. The camp kitchen is amazing! So good to have access to this especially as a large group. We always have an amazing time here. Great for groups with kids as you have access to the water, so make sure you pack your kayak, or paddleboard.

It was so lovely to get away and spend a few nights at Bebe's camp spot with beautiful views.
Was easy to find and on arrival Bebe came out to meet us and my 2 dogs. Bebe is a awesome host and explained everything thoroughly and you get a little booklet as well for things to do with a detailed map in the book.
Camping on my own I felt very safe on the property. It was beautiful to go and explore around the lake.
The camp spot is very pieaceful and quiet and slept very well in my tent. Thank you Bebe was lovely to meet you And thank you for getting me some soap that I forgot to bring! 😊

Nice spot to explore Gold Coast hinterland from. Trust the GPS, you are heading to the right place. Site is very secluded and lots of space to set up how you want. Photo's on listing of bamboo tunnel are out of date as that is all overgrown (when we visited), so no recreating those. If you have dogs good area less than 10 mins by car. Park along Quinzeh Creek Road and head for Wickham Peak Lookout and/or Grass Tree Lookout.

We loved camping at Lakeview Estate! It was peaceful, with the most beautiful views of the dam and a relaxing walk down to have a swim. The bar area with lights beside the firepit was a gorgeous, useful area. Our teens and adult children loved staying here. Christine, the caretaker, was friendly and helpful.

We loved the open space and the bird life was amazing.it was lovely to wake up and hear the wildlife .It was so peaceful.we were lucky enough to be the only ones there for the weekend which made the experience even better .

The property and area is stunning, amazing views of rolling mountains and the dam in the distance, massive campsite and a lovely camp fire area with big rocks to sit on and big cactus! Bebe and family were so accomodating and lovely, amazing experience all round. My puppy loved it too! We will definitely be back :)

First time using Hipcamp and this was an excellent experience! The hosts were lovely, easy directions to the side and it's close to activities on the lake. The site was quiet and had good views to the surrounding hills. Saw some local wildlife and had a small fire in a pit as well.

Really great spot for privacy. Just you and the bush. Perched on top of a hill. Great views. Recommend 4wd if towing a van. Some steep gravel climbs Bebe was great with local information and very welcoming. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the chaos of New years in town. If you want access to the dam, it’s a 10min drive up to the day area. Servo there is closed on Tuesdays.
