A peaceful acre and a half block straight off the road, flat grassed area with fencing between camp area and Neighbours. Plenty of space to set up where you feel comfortable within the fence and surrounded by horses.
15km or 20 minutes from Cairns City Centre and 10 minutes from Coles or Woolies in either direction. (Please note Gordonvale Woolies is closed on Sundays, Mount Sheridan shopping centre has Kmart, Coles and Woolies).
A cane train line runs across the front of the property so during cane season the trains come past a few times during the day and night. They can be noisy but are fairly quick.
Fresh and crystal clear swimming hole/ creek at the end of the road if you continue west down Maitland Road. Please stay in the front block and before the horse stables. Guests must be self-contained with their own toilet facilities.

Absolute hidden gem, Kris and Emma are the best hosts, so accomodating and friendly. They helped us with some local knowledge and made sure we were all set up and comfortable during our stay. We came during some heavy rain and they were more than happy for us to drive into their barn and stay in there so we had some cover for our stay. We were only supposed to stay one night but ended up staying 3. So central to everything you could need and lots of amazing things to see around here. Would 100000% recommend!!

Great little campsite only a few minutes from Mossman and 2 minutes from the fantastic Newell Beach.
Great location to explore the Daintree, Port Douglas areas and local freshwater swimming holes.
All sites are grass around a small man-made dam with fire pits, surrounded by farm land, with friendly cattle. There's a communal shed to catch up with neighbours at sundown.
Family run property very welcoming. No power or toilet but ideal for self contained camping and vans, with water taps available to top up your own tanks.
Ideal place to explore from or just relax.

Beautiful spot with lots of room, simple facilities. Walk to a waterfall through rainforest was a highlight, as was having a pony neighbour and all the tropical fruit trees. The mosquitoes were next level, but just part of the environment, recommend tropical strength deet and a mozzie coil or ten!

Wonderful place to stay. The waterfalls is one of our highlights pf our trip, very special place. Watch out for turtles 🐢 as we saw a few. Great for kids as well plenty to do no screen time was not a worry. Horse is super friendly too and the host 🫶🏼

Lovely bit of land next to some curious horses, the guy who owns it came down and spoke to us and was brilliant and so friendly, he told us some places to go visit nearby (which we did and they were beautiful). No flies/mosquitoes bothered us and a lovely sunset here. Would definitely stay again, thank you so much!!! We wish you all the best 😊😊

Absolutely stunning!! What a magical backdrop for our 3 night stay! We wanted to experience the Daintree Rainforest and these guys sure did provide that. We loved swimming in the waterhole and the magical walk to the private waterfall was amazing. A very special place. Easy to find, welcoming wildlife and beautiful spot. Definitely put it on the list for a return visit some day.

Would benefit from some toilets and a shower but advertised as needing to be self contained so not too disappointed about the lack of.
Only 6-7 sites in total so not too many people.
Very quiet and peaceful.
