Please note this is a glamping style cabin set up with an out door Hot Bath providing a unique experience under the stars and (one toilet and shower) Our Cabin/ Campsite/ offers a range of amenities , including a large fire pit for cosy evenings and an outdoor camp kitchen for preparing meals . Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, with gum trees towering overhead and the sound of birds and wildlife in the background its the perfect place to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. + Romantic evening dates + Family scenic adventures + Photography enthusiasts + Reconnecting with Nature + Soak up something super special Sundowners is perfect for those wanting to explore the local area. Here are some of the attractions within a small Radius - Kuranda is only a 10min drive with lots of wild life parks / indigenous experiences / local markets /cafes / national parks and more . Davies creek national park ( world renowned bike tracks) , bush walks , waterfalls. Emerald creek a scenic drive 20mins beautiful walking trails and swimming . Mareeba is also close which host lots of historical features and there is hot air ballooning in the close proximity Granite Gorge Nature Park / Tinaroo Dam fishing water sports /hot springs /crater lakes your opportunities are endless . The international airport in only an hour away and the Great Barrier Reef also awaits . If you are heading to the tip this is also a great stopover for last min shopping for supplies in Mareeba or a rest stop on your return . Please note we are a Rural Farm and you are very welcome to wander about we have 2 open dams and creek (swimming hole is a short 2 min walk) should you have little people these areas are not fenced (water Safety) is a must.This is an open style bush cabin which features one Queen Bed / set of bunks for the kids and there is a fold out futon if required . Jabba is located on a very large paddock amongst the mango and Lychee trees . There is a lot of open space to call your own . This space is ideal for couples or small Family groups as there is an option to book the Gypsy Van Esmeralda for extra space there is a bell tent option as well if you are a small group. This is an Glamping / bush camping experience although there are fans available this is a peaceful setting.

Loved Tracy’s little cottage. You will have everything you need and the large fire pit for all night long camp fire under stars. Having access to fridge and drinking water (upon request) were luxury for camping. We would love to come back.

Beautiful and thoughtfully put together space. The cosy environment and all the little touches make this place a lovely place to spend a couple of evenings of socialising amongst the backdrop of the tablelands. The facilities all worked really well and the outdoor bath was a highlight.

It was wonderful. We were able to enjoy a campfire in complete privacy, just with our family. The hosts were fantastic and responded immediately to any problems we had.

Jabba the Hutt
The hutt had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the easy access to the dam and the creek. My 6 years old loved searching for frogs at night, going down to the creek with his net, and the swing on a tree. We took our dog with us too, and the morning walk with him around the block was very peaceful. The host Tracey is very responsive and her hospitality was wonderful. Would love to go back there again.

Jabba the Hutt
We really enjoyed our stay at Jabba the Hut. The accommodation was comfortable and there was lots of outside space with beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the camp fire! The host Tracey was friendly and very helpful. The location was great for exploring Davies Creek and only 15 minute drive from Mareeba.

We were the first guess in the hut, and now we have the difficult decision to tell how amazing it is, or keep it a secret :) highly recommend! Tracey was very responsive, kept us informed all the way and ensured we had everything we needed. Much better than the photos, the outdoor bath was the icing on the cake! We will be back for sure!
