When you are travelling on Shepperd Road look for our "Chookhouse Farm" sign and a chook mailbox, that is the driveway you need to take. Drive up to the sign and call number on sign. Please wait for staff member to come out and greet you in your car.

Amenity block with hot water and flushing toilets for those booked in Pepperina. ADULTS ONLY STRICTLY NO CHILDREN. LIMITED SITES.
Top Paddock power, Top Paddock powered and Paddock Camp unpowered we have gas camp style showers (preset temperature for the safety of children).
THERES 2 PIT SHOWERS, HOWEVER NOT ALWAYS WORKING.
There are also 3 x BUSH/PIT toilets in the camp areas.
In each camp area we have 3 x rubbish bins.
Plenty of room for self-contained caravans/motorhomes and places to pitch a tent or camper.
National Parks, walking trails, Wineries, Gourmet Pubs and Restaurants, Markets, two magnificent parks with play areas for children and so many other points of interest to see and discover.
Being in a rural area we have strict guidelines for campfires. We follow all Local Government guidelines and the QFS. No blazing fires, all fires to be extinguished at night, no coals or ash to be left under trees or on the grass. We will pick up each morning coals and ash if required.

On the property you can enjoy swimming in the dam or just sitting under the shade of my many lovely big trees. Some have koalas residents, so bring your camera!
We are a hobby farm with animals roaming around including horses and pigs. We are family and children friendly but can also cater for larger get-togethers that require more space as whole paddocks are available.
We are located 20 minutes from the Wivenhoe Dam, Gatton or Fernvale which are the bigger towns to get supplies. We are only 10 minutes away from Lowood.
All these towns have great pubs and delicious, affordable meals. There are weekend markets, wineries, creeks, lookouts, historical villages and fabulous vintage shops to experience and explore!

Michaela's place is delighted with creativities. There are art installations, studios, and even karaoke bar with lots of custumes to choose.
We enjoyed our camping time with doggos and horses. Besides, each camp ground is huge and far from eachother. We even had a dam view in the front of our camp ground!
Michaela always responds messages instantly and helped us a lot. :)) Would definitely recommend to come!

Michaela’s land is peaceful, scenic, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What really stood out were the friendly farm animals, especially the pony, pigs, dogs and horses, which added a unique and fun experience. The property is well cared for, with plenty of open space. Michaela was a welcoming and thoughtful host, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. If you enjoy nature, animals, and a quiet escape, this spot is definitely worth visiting!

We found this campsite during our trip from Japan, and it truly became one of the most unforgettable places of our lives.
The sunset and scenery were absolutely beautiful, and our children were fascinated by the daily activities.
We loved meeting the lovely birds, the wild animals, and especially riding on the proud tractor that took us around!
We’ll definitely be back again.

Met with Geoffrey who was very kind and guided us up to a higher camp ground. Nice 4x4 drive up the hill and was greeted with a private camp and with a beautiful view. Shame there was a fire ban but the sunset and star gazing was fantastic 👌

We booked with another family and we had a blast. It was quiet, the water was perfect for the kids to play in and there was a kayak for a bit of fun. The kids loved the different animals visiting, or going to different parts of the property to visit for feeding times. We enjoyed having a short time away close to home.

Geoffrey’s hospitality is truly unmatched — he went out of his way to help us with everything we needed (and even things we didn’t realise we needed, but absolutely did).
The campsites are well maintained, secluded from others, and easily accessible. There’s heaps of timber available, plus plenty of space for big groups or families with kids.
Sadly, they’ll be moving on soon, so we’ll definitely try to come back before you go! :D

We had such a wonderful stay at Rob’s place!
From the moment we arrived, Rob made us feel welcome and at ease. He’s an amazing human being, very kind and easy-going. One of the highlights was definitely feeding the animals with Rob, which I highly recommend. It was such a unique and memorable experience.
The facilities are excellent as well. The toilets were spotless, and the hot shower were perfect after a day outdoors. Everything was clean, well maintained, and clearly looked after with care.
We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and grateful for the experience. Thank you Rob for your hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful quiet spot best for self-contained camping. The trees are a little higher now so part of the view is covered, but you can still experience a gorgeous sunset and sunrise amongst the birds. Recommend bringing mosquito spray since there were one or two around. Thank you Francine & team for the lovely night!
