We have the goal of becoming as self sufficient as possible and currently we are producing a large amount of our own food. We have a massive array of animals and always are having new additions, which is always exciting. We are open to people coming to just experience what we have created or even getting their hands dirty. We have learnt so much coming here and are happy to pass on what ever knowledge that we have gained but also open to learn from you all too. We are located about 40mins from Agnes Water and are super connected to the amazing Agnes community. We have a couple of areas that power can be tapped into and also a second outside bathroom that is welcomed to be used.

283 acres of mainly level bush with camping sites in various locations, either in a remote bush or by the water (dams). 6 kms of bushwalking tracks with abundant native wild and bird life. Designated fireplaces and firewood available. All campsites except the Safe Haven are physically separated and reserved for a single group (either travelling alone or in company with others). The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. Your hosts are always present and ready to assist in any way they can. Dogs welcome. Note: Flushing toilet is located adjacent to the Safe Haven campsite.

A few acers is dingo fenced for campers to enjoy “forrest bathing” in nearby natural scrub that has massive bottle trees and endangered Ooline trees. Uninterrupted country sky to enjoy the stars & very quiet location. Range Station is 7km out of the Local nearby small town of Mundubbera. We are a popular destination for tourists being the citrus capital of QLD and also have a huge blueberry farm and table grape vineyards in the local area. 3 rivers join just above the township of Mundubbera and the Burnett river runs through town with plenty of great swimming, fishing spots and walking tails.

Montaban Farm is 280 acres of rolling hills. You can set up on a flat, grassy site nearby a seasonal creek. You can chose to camp in the gully near the creek or from the top of the hill with a view of the hills. Access for all vehicles and camping set ups. In 5 minutes drive you'll find yourself in the town of Mulgildie where there is a great pub and a grocer. Small fires okay, please bring your own firepit. In the centre of Mulgildie stands the sculpture of the Mulgildie Bunyip. Tourists are encouraged to visit the Bunyips watering hole approximately 10 minutes drive from Mulgildie, a place renowned for strange bubbling and churning waters. There are national parks n the area which you can explore, where there is plenty of native wildlife and bush walks. Located 2 hours from Bundaberg, 3 hours from Rockhampton.

Very easy to find and clear directions with great signs! We were shown to our spot (even though it was lunch time - sorry!) Everything as advertised and even better the condition of the grounds etc was super! Hosts very friendly and helpful, great stay!

We had 1 night at Makowata Farm and it was lovely. We wouldn’t hesitate to return again. The night sky here was the best we’ve ever experienced - I truly recommend a stay. The shower on site was also really enjoyable!

Range Station was a little gem - very relaxing with amazing views all around. We had the place to ourselves, but there was plenty of room to spread out. It was dry with a total fire ban when we were there, but at other times it would be a sea of green, rolling hills with fire pits, a port-a-loo and a delightful nursery / garden to explore. It’s off the beaten track so it feels like being a million miles away - perfect!

We loved the tranquility and peaceful atmosphere at this camp! Stunning sunsets and so much wildlife and farm animals to be seen cruising around in the farmlands. The site is fully fenced so is perfect for dogs as well. Would recommend!
